Recently, the Hall of Famer discussed the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback on the 'PFF Podcast' with Cris Collinsworth. Manning, a two-time Super Bowl Champion, revealed that Hurts has steady communication with him.
"He calls me a lot and asks me lots of questions," Manning said, via 94WIP.

Even as a rookie, the young quarterback was winning over his teammates with his demeanor and leadership. It took just half a season before Hurts was under center for Philadelphia as the starter.
By his second season, Hurts was the clear-cut franchise quarterback. Since then, he's been to two Super Bowls, and recently won his first, getting crowned the game's MVP right after.

Hurts might be one of the more versatile players at the position, making plays on the ground and in the air. He can wear many hats as a QB, but Manning appreciates the veteran's "appreciation of the cerebral part of the game."
"He squats 600 pounds, he can run over guys, he can throw it a mile, but his appreciation of the cerebral part of the game is what is impressive to me and how he's taken his game to the next level, and I think the sky is the limit for this guy," Manning finished.
During the 2022 season, Hurts led the Eagles to a 14-1 record as he passed for 3,701 yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions while producing 784 yards on the ground and scoring 10 touchdowns. He was an MVP candidate and appeared in his first Super Bowl.
While the Eagles didn't get back into the big game the following year, Hurts threw for a career-high 3,858 yards and 23 touchdowns. His struggles with turnovers stood out.
This past season, Hurts threw under 400 times for just the second time in his career. He produced 2,903 yards during the regular season. Although he threw for just 18 touchdowns, he turned the ball over on the ground and in the air just 10 times. While taking care of the ball, the Eagles finished the year with a 12-3 record. They went on to win their second NFC title with Hurts at the helm and finished on top with a Super Bowl victory.
