Meanwhile, 29119 candidates submitted their forms.
Director of the admission cell Prof JK Pati said candidates will be able to correct mistakes in their applications on May 22 and 23.
"PGAT will be held on June 10, 11, 12 and 13. The exam will be conducted both online and offline in Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly, and New Delhi. Whereas, in Bhopal, Kolkata, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram, the examination will be held only online. The admit card will be uploaded on the university website a week before the entrance examination," he said.
There will be admission to approximately 8,000 seats in 61 postgraduate courses in AU and affiliated colleges.
This time, AU has decided not to give any weightage to NCC and sports quota in BEd, MEd, MBA, and MBA (rural development) courses.
Additionally, the rules for the sports quota have been changed, and a physical strength test has been included. Admission will be conducted in traditional courses under PGAT-1, with examinations in both modes. In contrast, admission to professional and Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) courses will be under PGAT-2, with the entrance examination conducted only online.
