Medical conference in city stresses on early diagnosis & improving quality of education

Bhopal: Medical professionals engaged in comprehensive discussions about stomach and liver vein disorders at the 2-day Vasocon 2025 in the city. According to a press release here on Sunday, the 10th annual gastroenterology conference "Vasocon 2025" successfully concluded its two-day session in Bhopal. Organised by Bhopal Institute of Gastroenterology and Gastrocare Multispecialty Hospital, the conference centred on "Vascular Events in GI and Liver - Early Detection, Better Management." Over 40 distinguished healthcare professionals, including gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists and endoscopists from across India participated. Programme coordinator Dr Sanjay Kumar emphasised the significance of early diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases. Dr Pawan K. Adla from Secunderabad highlighted the complexity of vascular problems, while Dr Praveen Sharma discussed liver functions and bleeding disorders. Dr Rajesh Puri noted the conference's focus on GI bleeding and its various causes. Dr S.K. Acharya addressed common misconceptions about digestive ailments and expressed concerns about increasing fatty liver cases. Dr Ravindra Kale stressed the importance of advanced imaging in vascular surgery . The conference concluded by establishing the necessity of a multidisciplinary approach for treating GI vascular diseases and bleeding two-day 10th Annual Conference was organised in Bhopal on May 10 and 11 in association with Indian Society of Gastroenterology (MP Chapter) and supported by Indian Medical association Greater Bhopal Branch, Association of Physician of India (MP Chapter), Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (MP Chapter), Bhopal Haematology Society, Bhopal Surgeons Club, under the aegis of Gastrocare organizers said prominent speakers from Gastroenterology, GI surgeons, Hematologists, Interventional Radiologists and Endoscopists from across the country were invited.
