While Jaideep has worked with Ranbir in Rockstar, he shared screen space with SRK in Raees and wil reunite with the megastar in King, which also stars Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma and Suhana Khan in key roles read more Jaideep Ahlawat, who has been garnering accolades and praises for his performances and portrayals this year with Paatal Lok 2 and Jewel Thief, shared his reaction when he was asked to give his opinion on Shah Rukh Khan not being considered by intellectuals when they talk about great actors. The versatile star called himself a 'chota insaan (insignificant person)' to give his opinion about SRK. 'Main bohut chota insaan hoon in sab cheezo k liye… ki main Khan sir ki ya Ranbir Kapoor ki popularity ko judge karu ki woh kis tarah ka abhineta hai ya kis tarah ka star hai? Mujhe aesa manna hai ki yeh koi jaan bujhke nahi hua hoga. Popularity hona, stardom hona ek alag cheez hai, usmein abhineta bhi ho sakta hai (I'm an insignificant person to talk about these things…to judge the popularity of Shah Rukh or Ranbir Kapoor , as an actor and star. I don't think it was done intentionally. To have popularity and stardom is a different matter, an actor can also be part of it),' said Jaideep while talking to The Lallantop. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD 'I feel Ranbir Kapoor kamaal ka actor hai (wonderful), brilliant actor hai. Ho sakta hai ki woh Shah Rukh Khan jitne bade nahi ho (Maybe he won't be as big as Shah Rukh Khan). Shah Rukh Khan ko Shah Rukh Khan banane mein sirf abhinay nahi, woh jo ek judao hai na logon ke saath, uska bohot bada haath hojata hai. Zaroori nahi ki sirf talent k naam pe aap itne bade star hosako, ek abhinay k talent k naam pe (Only acting alone didn't make Shah Rukh Khan who he is today, the connection he has with people has played a big role. It's not necessary that a person becomes a big star only on the basis of talent, only on talent for acting),' he added. While Jaideep has worked with Ranbir in Rockstar, he shared screen space with SRK in Raees and wil reunite with the megastar in King, which also stars Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma and Suhana Khan in key roles.

Jaideep Ahlawat's ‘Deepika Padukone would steal Bhansali's next script' remark angers fans: ‘Trying to be mainstream'
Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat is currently earning praise for his performance in the Netflix film Jewel Thief. During a promotional interview with Bollywood Bubble, Jaideep gave a quirky response when asked what he thinks Deepika Padukone could be accused of stealing. (Also Read: Jaideep Ahlawat laughs at reports of him charging ₹20 crore for Paatal Lok 2: 'Hai kahan ye paisa, gaya kahan') When Nikita Dutta failed to answer what Deepika could be accused of stealing, Jaideep replied, 'Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next script. Before it goes to someone else.' Nikita burst into laughter and responded, 'Only you have the guts to say this!' A Reddit user shared the video on the platform, sparking a mixed response. While some appreciated Jaideep's cheeky comment, others felt he wouldn't say the same about 'nepo kids'. One comment read, 'Cheeky Jaideep! But I don't think DP needs to steal SLB's script.' Another said, 'It's easy to say such things about Deepika, Kangana, Priyanka — because they know no one's coming at them with pitchforks. But they'll never say such things about nepo kids, because they know how badly it could affect their networking with industry biggies.' Another user wrote, 'Jaideep's trying to be mainstream.' One more added, 'That'll be Alia. But they don't have the courage to go after Nepos.' Deepika Padukone has worked in three films directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali — Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat. All three proved to be blockbusters, earning ₹218.07 crore, ₹362.00 crore, and ₹585 crore worldwide, respectively. Deepika was last seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, which also featured Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor in key roles. She is yet to announce her next project. Jaideep was most recently seen in the Netflix film Jewel Thief, alongside Kunal Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Nikita Dutta. He will next be seen in Raj & DK's hit series The Family Man Season 3, which stars Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Priyamani, and others, and is scheduled for release on Prime Video in October this year.

Blackpink's Jisoo and Park Jeong-min on Navigating Romance — and Zombies — in Prime Video's ‘Newtopia': ‘The Chemistry Between Us Was Great'
In Prime Video's 'Newtopia,' love doesn't just survive the apocalypse — it thrives in it. The Korean series pairs Blackpink's Jisoo and acclaimed actor Park Jeong-min in a romantic comedy with undead twists that's being billed as a fresh take on the zombie genre. The series follows Lee Jae-yoon (Park), a late military conscript, and Kang Young-joo (Jisoo), a rookie professional, whose relationship is tested first by a breakup and then by a zombie outbreak in Seoul. Under the direction of Yoon Sung-hyun, 'Newtopia' aims to blend heart-pounding action with light-hearted romance. 'That uniqueness was what made me want to be part of this project.' The actor, who admits to being a Blackpink fan with signed albums to prove it, found instant chemistry with his co-star. 'From the very first moment, the chemistry between us was great and it was easy to form a close bond.' For Park, the role offered unique creative opportunities. 'Being placed in situations that I have never experienced — and likely never will — was the most intriguing aspect of working on this series,' he explains. 'It opened up endless possibilities for imagination, allowing me to reflect on the various choices I might make if I found myself in those situations.' The collaboration between the two leads was enhanced by Jisoo's presence on set. 'Jisoo is such a wonderful person who never shows any signs of negativity,' Park says. 'Working with her helped me stay connected to my character's emotions throughout the filming process. Thanks to her, it made portraying her romantic partner in the series feel natural and enjoyable.' For Jisoo, following up her success in Disney+ and JTBC's 'Snowdrop' with 'Newtopia' offered new challenges, particularly in the action department. 'This was my first time working on a project set in a zombie apocalypse, and I discovered how much I enjoy filming action sequences,' she reveals. The role required nearly a year of filming and extensive physical preparation. 'I always worked out on my days off, stretched before filming and stayed focused during rehearsals to prevent injuries,' she says. The K-pop star-turned-actress faced demanding action scenes, including a particularly taxing sequence featuring zombies. 'One of the toughest scenes involved fighting and running from zombies in a single take,' she says. 'It demanded a lot of physical strength, and keeping up with all the running was a challenge.' Her dedication extended beyond filming hours: 'On days with a lot of action scenes, I followed recovery routines like warm baths and stretching to prevent muscle soreness, no matter how late we finished on set.' Park likens the series to a 'fairytale disguised as a zombie series' and draws comparisons to 2013 zombie cult film 'Warm Bodies,' suggesting viewers might find similar fresh appeal. He credits director Yoon Sung-hyun's innovative approach, noting how the creator 'steps slightly away from traditional formulas to present a fresh story and an innovative narrative style.' Jisoo underlines the show's unique balance of elements: 'A zombie apocalypse can feel like a heavy theme, but 'Newtopia' balances the grimness with characters who navigate the chaos in unique ways, all while keeping a sense of humor.'
