Gaza's Children: Thin bodies, Sunken eyes, lives tortured by Zionist starvation
Gaza - Saba: The starvation of children in Gaza on Wednesday is no longer a metaphor. It has become a deadly reality, produced by the crimes of genocide and starvation imposed by the Israeli enemy on more than a million starving children in the besieged Strip. As a result of the brutal starvation policy pursued by the Israeli enemy, the children of Gaza, whose bodies have been emaciated by hunger, are threatened with a slow death. The Palestinian Information Center monitors the lives of Gaza's children under siege, amid the devastation caused by the Israeli enemy. This photo shows a starving Palestinian girl sleeping under a tattered blanket in a shelter in the northern Gaza Strip. The starving child's mother has nothing to feed her but dry bread crumbs, and the only words to silence her starving daughter's cries are the silence of another starving mother. The World Food Program has documented more than 1,700 deaths among children since January 2024 due to hunger and lack of healthcare. According to the UN program's statistics, 90% of children in the Gaza Strip suffer from severe malnutrition, 82% of them go to bed hungry every night, and 34% of children under the age of five suffer from acute malnutrition. Malnutrition is evident in children's thin bodies, sunken eyes, and hair loss, and even more so in the mental and psychological deterioration of children whose only crime is that a brutal Zionist killer lurks around them. Infant mortality has risen alarmingly in the starving Gaza Strip, due to the lack of infant formula and the decline in mothers' natural milk production as a result of the starvation crimes perpetrated by the Israeli enemy. In a statistic no less disastrous than the previous one, deaths of children under the age of five increased by 45% compared to last year. While 68% of Gazan families rely on one meal or less per day, in many cases they forgo this meal in favor of their starving children. The psychological effects of the Israeli enemy on children are no less severe than the suffering they suffer from hunger. According to UN reports, thousands of children suffer from serious psychological disorders, most notably anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder, amid a near-total absence of psychological support and care programs. Starvation in Gaza is not natural. Rather, it is a genocide committed by a brutal enemy with American partnership, Western complicity, and suspicious international silence. The Israeli enemy is killing starving children seeking food outside aid centers, a crime it shares with the United States, just as it kills many others seeking aid. The Palestinian Center for Human Rights has revealed shocking testimonies from young boys released by Israeli forces after being arrested while trying to obtain food aid, facing the "death traps" it operates in partnership with Washington. Amid all the Zionist starvation and genocide targeting children in Gaza, a faint humanitarian voice emerges, one that does not measure up to the scale of the crime. This voice calls for the rescue of the starving children of the Gaza Strip, the immediate opening of humanitarian crossings, funding of nutrition programs, and the provision of baby formula and nutritional supplements. A UN report revealed that of the 14,750 children in Gaza suffering from malnutrition, 3,288 are suffering from severe acute malnutrition. According to a report by the Ministry of Health in Gaza on Tuesday, the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition has risen to 188, including 94 children. Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have been facing an unprecedented wave of hunger since the Israeli enemy closed the Strip's crossings in early March and imposed severe restrictions on the entry of food, relief aid, fuel, and medicine. Over time, Gaza residents have exhausted all food supplies, and shops have become empty. Finding a loaf of bread has become almost impossible, while available goods have seen skyrocketing prices. Death by starvation has become one of the most severe causes of death in the Strip. The Israeli enemy's crimes against Palestinians waiting for aid in the Gaza Strip have continued daily since the implementation of the "Israeli-American" mechanism, overseen by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation," on May 27. 41% of Kidney Failure Patients in Gaza die during aggression
Gaza – SABA: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that 41% of kidney failure patients have died during the ongoing Zionist aggression on Gaza, due to being denied access to dialysis centers and the destruction of facilities dedicated to their care. In a press statement, the ministry confirmed that Israeli forces demolished the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza, which had been providing essential dialysis services to kidney patients. The ministry warned of the severe consequences of the center's destruction on the health of kidney patients, describing the situation as a 'disaster with unforeseeable outcomes.' It noted that the occupation forces are systematically working to eliminate hospitals and specialized care centers from northern Gaza. A report by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, issued on May 20, highlighted that 41% of kidney failure patients have died due to repeated displacement and the drastic reduction in dialysis hours from 12 to just 4 hours per week. The report further revealed that six out of the seven centers providing dialysis services in Gaza have been either completely destroyed or rendered inoperable—four in Gaza City and the northern governorates, and two in the central and southern areas. It added that 472 kidney failure patients—41% of the total 1,200 patients—have died since October 7, with the majority of deaths occurring in Gaza City and the north. The fatalities were primarily due to the destruction of dialysis centers and the patients' inability to attend their sessions regularly, which led to the deterioration of their health and ultimately their deaths. Report: Israel Slowly Killing Gaza's Cancer Patients Through Delays and Denial of Care
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights has accused Israel of systematically denying cancer patients in Gaza access to treatment, calling it a slow, deliberate act of genocide. In a new report titled 'The Deadly Wait,' the center highlights the devastating impact of Israel's destruction of Gaza's only cancer hospital—the Turkish Friendship Hospital—in March 2025. That attack, combined with strict travel restrictions, has left over 12,500 cancer patients without adequate care. More than 91% of patients have been barred from traveling outside the Strip for treatment. The result: hundreds have died over the past year and a half, and about 2,700 patients are now in critical condition with nowhere to turn. Medical supplies are also dangerously low—over 85% of essential cancer medications are unavailable. The report describes this as intentional neglect that inflicts deep physical and psychological harm. Only around 1,100 patients—mostly women and children—have managed to travel for treatment, highlighting what the center says is Israel's use of healthcare as a weapon of collective punishment. Patients are also being forced to live in overcrowded shelters and tents after repeated displacement. Many have given up on treatment entirely due to poor living conditions and lack of medical access. The report condemns Israel's 'sterile travel process,' which requires patients to get security approval to leave, without any guarantee they'll be allowed to return. This tactic, the center says, turns medical travel into a tool for forced displacement—something it calls a war crime under international law. The center is urging immediate international intervention to protect patients and hold Israel accountable for what it calls crimes against humanity. Shortlink for this post:

HR Center: Unemployment rates in Gaza exceeded 80% during War
Gaza - Saba: The Palestinian Center for Human Rights revealed on Thursday that Gaza workers have suffered for many years from the Israeli blockade, restrictions, and denial of their most basic rights. The center said in a press statement: "Before the war of extermination, data from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed that the unemployment rate in Gaza reached 45.1%, compared to 12.9% in the West Bank." It added: "It was noted that unemployment was spreading at an alarming rate among university degree holders and diploma holders." The center continued: "At that time, the unemployment rate among graduates aged 19–29 in Gaza reached 73%." The center stated, "Four out of five individuals of working age were left without a source of income," explaining that "the overall unemployment rate in the West Bank after the war reached approximately 35%." It added, "The war destroyed approximately 90% of the housing, infrastructure, and industrial, commercial, agricultural, and service facilities in the Gaza Strip." Death toll of Palestinians in Gaza due to Israeli war rises to 52,418
Israeli forces launched airstrikes on the Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in central of the Gaza city on April 12, 2025- the photo taken from Palestinians' journalists' telegram channels CAIRO – 1 May 2025: The Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip has killed 52,418 martyrs and injured 118,091 others since October 7, 2023, said the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza in a daily news briefing on Thursday. A total of 18 martyrs (including one recovered martyr) and 77 injuries were received in Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 24 hours, the report added. Meanwhile, a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams. The death toll and injuries since March 18, 2025 has reached 2,326 martyrs and 6,050 injuries. On March 18, Israel shattered a two-month ceasefire in Gaza brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the US, resuming one of the century's bloodiest conflicts. The Palestinian Center for Human Rights said on Thursday that the Israeli war destroyed approximately 90 percent of the Gaza Strip's housing and infrastructure, as well as industrial, commercial, agricultural, and service facilities. Also, the UNRWA announced on Thursday that about 660,000 children in the Gaza Strip are not receiving any schooling due to the war. Temporary education activities in the Gaza Strip have been severely affected by the resumption of Israeli shelling, the UN agency added. Recent Israeli displacement orders in the Gaza Strip have made it more difficult for children to access psychosocial and recreational support, the UNRWA stated.
