Islamic Jihad: Israeli new settlement plans war crime
Occupied Quds - Saba: The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement on Thursday said the Israeli enemy's approval of a large-scale settlement plan in the West Bank constitutes a new war crime added to its record of crimes, coinciding with the ongoing massacres against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The movement added in a statement, "The plan includes the establishment of 13 settlement cities and the construction of 180,000 housing units by 2050. This is in addition to the announcement by Israeli government ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Yisrael Katz of the establishment of 22 new settlements, some of them near the border with Jordan, in a move aimed at imposing a new settlement reality on the ground." The statement pointed out that these policies are part of a colonial project aimed at annexing the West Bank, displacing its population, realizing Talmudic fantasies, and enforcing a system of apartheid and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people. Jihad emphasized that these measures represent a slap in the face to anyone who relies on a settlement or international pressure, which has failed even to stop the massacres in Gaza or deliver humanitarian aid. It stated, "Resistance, especially armed resistance, is the only option to confront these plans, as it is a legitimate right to defend land, rights, and holy sites." Islamic Jihad Movement: Ben-Gvir's desecration of Al-Ibrahimi and the storming of Al-Aqsa are nothing but attempts to distort our sanctities
Occupied Quds - Saba: The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement condemned what it described as Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's "desecration" of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil. It considered this action, along with the raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, an attempt to distort Islamic sanctities and insult the religious identity of Arabs and Muslims, especially in light of the ongoing aggression on Gaza and the destruction of West Bank refugee camps. In a statement issued Wednesday, the movement held the occupation responsible for the assassination of two Palestinian youths, Muhammad Omar Zakarneh and Marouh Yasser Khuzaymiya, in the West Bank. It considered the incident a new crime in a series of Israeli violations against Palestinians. The movement emphasized that the occupation's crimes represent a slap in the face to the human conscience, affirming the resistance forces' commitment to confronting these violations by all possible means. Islamic Jihad Mourns Hamas Spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanou
Gaza - Saba: The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement mourned the death of Hamas spokesman Abdul Latif al-Qanou on Thursday, following a bombing that targeted his tent in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip. Jihad said in a statement, "The enemy's deliberate targeting of the political and media cadres of the resistance movements reflects the enemy's failure to achieve any military gains on the ground, which has prompted it to commit massacres against civilians, including the targeting of children and women." It continued, "The martyrdom of the leaders and mujahideen in the ranks of the resistance among their people is a source of pride for our Palestinian people and reflects the most wonderful epics of steadfastness and perseverance in confronting the occupation. The blood of the leader al-Qanou will remain a beacon illuminating the path of resistance and jihad until victory and liberation are achieved." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Iran's Khamenaei on Trump's Gaza Plan: foolish
Shafaq News/ Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Tuesday criticized US plans to relocate Gaza residents to Arab countries, calling the initiative "foolish" asserting that it "will not achieve any progress." This marked Khamenei's first public response to former US President Donald Trump's proposal to relocate Gaza's population. The remarks were made during a meeting with Ziad Al-Nakhala, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, and his accompanying delegation, according to the official Iranian news agency IRNA. Khamenei emphasized that American plans would not yield any results, highlighting that those who claimed they would quickly defeat Palestinian resistance about a year and a half ago are now releasing a large number of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for Israeli captives. He described the exchange as a symbol of the "pride of resistance in the eyes of the world," adding that global public opinion is in solidarity with the Palestinian people. In this context, he argued that any plan not supported by resistance forces and the people of Gaza would fail. The Iranian leader also congratulated the Palestinian resistance for its "victories in Gaza," praising the unity, perseverance, and determination of Palestinian fighters, which he regarded as a source of pride for resistance movements in the region. On the other hand, Al-Nakhala expressed his gratitude to Khamenei for the Iranian support, attributing Gaza's victory to the consistent backing of the Islamic Republic and the guidance of Hezbollah's leader, Hassan Nasrallah. He pointed out that over the past year and a half, Palestinian resistance fought against the US and the West, despite an imbalance of power. Yet, he noted that "Palestinian resistance achieved major victories in this battle." Al-Nakhala also emphasized that the unity and solidarity among resistance factions in Palestine and Lebanon played a crucial role in Gaza's success.
