Fattouh: Occupation's massacre of Khader family in Jabalia crime of genocide against humanity

Ramallah-Saba: Palestinian National Council Chairman Rawhi Fattouh has affirmed that the Israeli occupation's massacre of the Khader family in Jabalia camp, which claimed the lives of more than 40 martyrs, including doctors, engineers, academics, and children, is a crime of genocide against humanity and a deliberate act of ethnic cleansing aimed at erasing Palestinian families from the civil registry, a scene reminiscent of the most horrific crimes in modern history. Fattouh explained in a statement issued by the Palestinian National Council on Saturday: "We remind the world that self-defense does not involve killing and wounding more than 50,000 children, destroying homes over their residents, or erasing Palestinian families from the civil registry. These crimes represent the height of organized terrorism practiced by the criminal terrorist government." He pointed out that the United States bears direct responsibility for the continuation of these massacres through its political and diplomatic protection of the terrorist government and its repeated obstruction of any Security Council resolutions aimed at halting the aggression and imposing accountability. Fattouh emphasized that this blatant American bias not only prolongs the war, but also directly encourages the commission of further crimes and undermines any hope of achieving justice or peace in the region. He concluded by saying that the international community's silence in the face of these crimes amounts to complicity in the crime. Security and stability will not be achieved as long as the Israeli killing machine operates unchecked and as long as the major powers collude through silence or political cover, contenting themselves with verbal statements for 608 days, during which tens of thousands of innocent victims have been victims. Egypt rejects Israeli schemes to separate Gaza from West Bank: FM Abdelatty to Fatah delegation - Foreign Affairs

Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty reaffirmed to a Fatah delegation that Egypt rejects Israeli efforts to separate Gaza from the West Bank and any attempts to displace Palestinians and fully supports the Palestinian Authority. The delegation, led by Fatah Secretary-General Jibril Rajoub, included Rawhi Fattouh, President of the Palestinian National Council, and Mohammad Shtayyeh, former Palestinian Prime Minister, and was in Cairo to assess the escalation in Israeli violence in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. During the meeting, Abdelatty reiterated that Israel's belief in the power of force would create further obstacles to peaceful coexistence among the peoples of the region. The Foreign Minister emphasized Egypt's rejection of Israel's ongoing aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as its aggressive policies in the region and its use of brutal military force with no regard for international humanitarian law. He condemned Israel's continued extremist practices against civilians and its actions as a state that considers itself above the law, stressing that illusions of power will not bring Israel the security it imagines. Instead, the atrocities it commits will only deepen hatred and a desire for revenge against it in the region, creating further obstacles to peaceful coexistence among the peoples of the region. Abdelatty warned that this would have severely negative repercussions on Israel's security and stability, as well as on the prospects for sustainable peace in the region, cautioning against the consequences of the shameful international silence toward what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories. On Friday, the Israeli Defense and Security Forum proposed dividing Gaza into "humanitarian islands" under Israeli control, a plan linked to US President Donald Trump's 2025 call to expel Gaza's native Palestinian population. The Foreign Minister also discussed the Arab plan prepared by Egypt for Gaza's reconstruction and emphasized the importance of reinforcing Palestinian unity and supporting the Palestinian Authority's role in meeting the aspirations of the Palestinian people. He reiterated Egypt's stance toward a just resolution to the Palestinian issue, advocating for an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. Since 18 March, Israel has resumed its genocidal war on Gaza, unilaterally violating the ceasefire brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the US, killing more than 1,000 Palestinians, including at least 322 children, and injuring more than 2,400 others. Since 21 January, Israeli forces have launched a wide-scale offensive on the northern West Bank, particularly in Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, and Nablus. The Israeli aggression has killed 100 Palestinians, including at least 17 children, and left dozens more, including women and children, injured. More than 40,000 people have been forcibly displaced, and hundreds of homes and vital infrastructure have been destroyed. According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), 906 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank since October 2023. Israeli atrocities harm hopes for peaceful coexistence in region: FM Abdelatty to Fatah delegation - Foreign Affairs

PNC: Israeli enemy's aggressive policies toward our people will lead to explosion

Ramallah - Saba: The Palestinian National Council affirmed that the aggressive policies targeting the Palestinian presence and their inalienable rights on their land, as well as the daily crimes committed by the Israeli enemy army, will lead to an explosion that will not be limited to the occupied Palestinian territories. The National Council explained, according to what was reported by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" on Saturday, that the Israeli enemy government and army have escalated their brutal attacks in recent days in the occupied West Bank, especially in the camps in the northern West Bank. Their colonial plan includes demolishing more than 90 homes in the Jenin camp, dozens of homes in the Tulkarm camp, and more than 80 homes in the al-Ain camp near Nablus, forcing tens of thousands to flee. This move reflects the racist, extremist colonial approach adopted by the enemy government to silently implement displacement plans, while the enemy army continues its bloody aggression against the Gaza Strip. Palestinian National Council: Preventing aid from entering Gaza Strip, closing crossings "war crime"

Ramallah-Saba: The Palestinian National Council confirmed that closing the Gaza Strip crossings and preventing the entry of humanitarian, food and medical aid is a "war crime" and a "crime against humanity" that aims to deepen human suffering, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. The National Council explained in a statement issued today, Sunday, and reported by the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa", that this siege comes as part of the forced displacement plan pursued by the Israeli occupation authorities, and the support of the US administration, and the continuation of the war of extermination and ethnic cleansing that has claimed tens of thousands of victims against the Palestinian people, in flagrant violation of international law. He stressed that international powers bear direct responsibility for this unjust siege, considering what is happening a continuation of the policy of collective punishment, which violates Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, and exacerbates a humanitarian crisis classified as a humanitarian disaster by the United Nations United. He called for immediate international action to lift the siege and ensure the protection of the Palestinian people from these crimes, in implementation of relevant international covenants and UN resolutions.
