Top rankers in TG EAPCET-2025 eye IITs and AIIMS
Hyderabad: Top rankers of the TG EAPCET-2025 are continuing the trend of participating in state-level common entrance tests in engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy, treating them as warm-up sessions and training sessions for the all-India entrance tests like JEE and NEET. The top five rankers in both engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy told The Hans India that they are aiming for admission to either IITs or AIIMS. Palla Bharath Chandra, who secured the first rank in the engineering stream, stated that he wants to attend IIT in Mumbai and pursue Computer Science Engineering. Given his rank, he is confident he will secure a seat at IIT Mumbai. When asked why he participated in TG EAPCET-2025, he explained that it helps maintain his momentum and familiarity with taking entrance tests, which is beneficial for the all-India examinations. Similarly, U Rama Charan Reddy, who secured the second rank, pointed out that state-level entrance tests are valuable for learning time management and handling questions effectively. He emphasised that these skills will help as a reference for approaching all-India tests. P. Hema Sai Surya Karthik, Lakshmi Bhargav Mende, and Manthri Reddy Venkata Ganesh, who secured the third, fourth, and fifth ranks, respectively, expressed similar views, sharing that their ultimate goal is to gain admission to IITs. Saketh Reddy Peddakkagari and Chada Akshith, who secured the first and third ranks respectively in the agriculture and pharmacy ranks, aim to enrol in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for their undergraduate medicine course. The NEET examination was held on May 4th, and the results were awaited. Saketh Reddy is confident he will achieve a high rank that will secure him a place in government medical institutions like AIIMS. Akshith mentioned that he faced challenges with 12 to 14 questions on the NEET exam but is still hopeful of scoring between 640 and 650, which he believes should be enough for admission to AIIMS. He added that after completing his MBBS, he intends to explore specialisation options, with a keen interest in cardiology. Brahmani Rendla from Ranga Reddy district secured the fourth rank in the agriculture and pharmacy stream and is the only girl among the top 10 rank holders in both the engineering and agriculture and pharmacy streams. She is also waiting for the NEET results and, like her fellow top rankers, mentioned that she participated in TG EAPCET-2025 to gain experience and a feel for taking entrance tests.

TG-EAPCET 2025: Overall pass rates see slight decline
HYDERABAD: The results of TG-EAPCET 2025, released on Sunday by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, saw a slight decline in the qualification rates for both the engineering and agriculture & pharmacy (A&P) streams. In the engineering stream, 2,20,326 candidates had registered, of whom 2,07,190 appeared and 1,51,779 qualified, resulting in 73.26% pass rate. In the A&P stream, 86,762 candidates registered, 81,198 appeared and 71,309 qualified, which translates to 87.82% pass rate. Palla Bharath Chandra from Parvathipuram Manyam in AP topped the engineering stream with a score of 150.08. He was followed by Udagandala Rama Charan Reddy from Madhapur with 148.28 and Pammina Hema Sai Surya Karthik from Vizianagaram, AP, who secured the third rank with 147.08. In the A&P stream, Saketh Reddy Peddakkagari from Medchal secured the first rank with 141.68 marks, followed by Sabbani Lalith Varenya from Karimnagar with 140.47 and Chada Akshith from Warangal with 140.

Telangana EAPCET 2025 results announced; over 1.5 lakh candidates qualify in engineering stream
Hyderabad: As many as 151,779 candidates qualified in the engineering stream of the Telangana Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET 2025), the results of which were released on qualifying percentage in the engineering stream for this year is 73.26% — 1.72% less than last year. In 2023 and 2022, the qualifying percentage stood at 80.34% and 80.42%, respectively. This year, a total of 207,190 candidates appeared for EAPCET, which is conducted for admissions into engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses at the undergraduate of the top three ranks were secured by students from Andhra Pradesh. Palla Bharath Chandra from Parvathipuram Manyam secured first rank in the engineering stream with 150 marks, while Pammina Hema Sai Surya Karthik from Vizianagaram secured third rank. Udagandla Rama Charan Reddy from the city secured second rank with 148 the top ten, two are from AP, and the remaining eight candidates are from the Greater Hyderabad area. "My goal is to secure a seat in computer science engineering at IIT Bombay," said Bharath, who will be appearing for JEE Advanced on May 18 and AP EAPCET in the last week of missing out on the top ranks in the engineering stream, girl students put up a good show with 73.88% of them qualifying in the examination, compared to the boys' qualifying percentage of 72.79%.Students from social and tribal welfare institutes also performed well in the entrance exam, with many securing ranks below 10,000. "All 953 students from TGSWREIS who appeared for the engineering stream entrance qualified in the test. TG EAPCET 2025 Results Out: The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2025 results have been declared today. Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy officially released the results during a press conference held at his residence at 11am. This year's examination saw strong participation and performances from aspirants across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh's Palla Bharath Chandra secured the top position in the Engineering stream, while Saketh Reddy Peddakkagari from Hyderabad topped the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream. The TG EAPCET was held from April 29 to May 4 across multiple centers. A total of 2,07,190 candidates appeared for the Engineering stream, with 1,51,779 passing. In the Agriculture and Pharmacy streams, 71,309 candidates qualified out of 81,198 test takers. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has released the results of Telangana Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) 2025 in Hyderabad at his residence on Sunday (May 11, 2025). Candidates can access their result on A total of 2,20,327 for Engineering and about 81,000 candidates had taken the computer-based test, conducted on April 29 and 30 (for Agriculture and Pharmacy streams), and May 2 to 5 (for Engineering stream).
