Gujarat CM launches digital platform for village planning

Gandhinagar: Chief minister Bhupendra Patel presided over a joint conference of district development officers (DDOs) and district rural development agency (DRDA) directors in Gandhinagar on Thursday. Speaking at the event, the CM said that in today's technological era, govt services have become accountable, and administration officials should operate with clarity and transparency in utilising power for public service with vigilance. District development officers have a significant responsibility to implement welfare schemes that bring qualitative changes to rural life, the CM said. The CM also launched a digital platform to make the village planning process online. He mentioned that this platform will make the process of plot allocation easier and more transparent in rural areas, helping to achieve the targets of housing construction schemes.
