Yee Hern-Wen Tse reach first career final at Thailand International Series
KUALA LUMPUR: National mixed doubles back-up pair Wee Yee Hern-Chan Wen Tse have reached their first career final at the Thailand International Series in Korat.
The world No. 144 defeated Thailand's Pannawat Jamtubtim-Kodchaporn Chaichana 21-17, 21-12 in a 31-minute semi-final on Saturday.
Yee Hern-Wen Tse will face top seeds Ratchapol Makkasasithorn-Nattamon Laisuan of Thailand in the final on Sunday.
The Malaysian third seeds lost to the same pair in the semi-finals of the Sri Lanka International Series in March.
