Are we doing enough to tackle forced marriage in Australia?
Being forced to marry someone against your will is a crime in Australia, but one support service says its getting more than five people contacting them each week who are at risk of or in a forced marriage .
The practice was outlawed in Australia in 2013 but so far only one person, a 48 year old woman from regional Victoria, has been convicted under the law.
So is criminalisation the right approach or do we need to be looking at other solutions?
