IRELAND AM star Muireann O'Connell got soppy as she shared an emotional statement after her weekend away.
The Virgin Media host spent some well deserved quality time with her loved ones last week.

The Limerick native posted a picture of her new book, Paper Heart by Cecelia Ahern, and said: "Holidays in full swing with a book I cannot put down."
After some quiet time, she went for an ice cold dip in the sea.
Muireann recorded herself walking on the beach wearing a pair of brown sunglasses and a grey sweater.

She smiled from ear-to-ear and said: "Taking a break from reading to go swimming in the rain. Holidays in Ireland!"
Muireann posted a picture of herself yesterday looking well rested with her hair in a towel and a glass of vino in her hand.
She reflected on her busy weekend saying: "Bit soppy but feeling so lucky with a full heart after a weekend with the best gang.
"Hope you're having a lovely week."
