SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi Announces New SeaBloom Celebration with Exclusive In-Park Experiences
SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, the world's largest indoor Marine Life Theme Park, welcomes this year's vibrant spring season with its first-ever SeaBloom Celebration. Running until May 11. Guests can enjoy marine life-themed sand art sculptures, exciting educational challenges and exclusive meet and greets, making for an unforgettable experience. As guests step into the marine life theme park's Abu Dhabi Ocean, they'll be greeted by stunning sand art sculptures illustrating the journey of a sea turtle. As guests continue to explore, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi's beloved live characters Sakina, the dugong, and Shivers, the polar bear, will be dressed in their Spring best for the occasion bringing excitement to young guests with interactive meet-and-greet experiences. For the young and curious, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi presents the SeaBloom Curiosities Booklet. A journey through eight immersive realms where they discover hidden animal secrets and try to collect all eight colorful stickers along the way. Once completed, they'll earn a special surprise from Sakina herself. The booklet is available for AED 35, with exclusive discounts for Yas Annual Passholders. Alongside the excitement and entertainment, guests are invited to explore SeaWorld Abu Dhabi's animals in bloom. At Tropical Ocean, the marine life theme park's first flamingo chick is gradually developing its signature rosy hue. In the Antarctica realm, guests can witness the adorable newly hatched penguin chicks. Within Polar Ocean, guests can also make their way to the Arctic realm and witness two species of puffins in their nesting season. Utah Ski Resort Lists Preferred Parking Passes for $1300
Snowbird, Utah, will soon begin selling preferred parking passes for next season. They cost $1,299, according to a recently-updated page on the resort's preferred parking pass provides access to the Lower Gad Valley, Pond and Bypass Road Preferred Parking Lots between December 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. They go on sale at 10 a.m. April 15 and are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Preferred Parking pass holders are not required to make a reservation for holiday and peak preferred parking pass holders will have two weeks to renew their pass between March 26 and April to keep up with the best stories and photos in skiing? Subscribe to the new Powder To The People newsletter for weekly spring 2022, Snowbird sold a parking pass for the upcoming winter that cost $799, reflecting a $500 increase since that season. The proceeds from the preferred parking passes will go toward "improving and expanding carpool-specific parking, enhancing carpool rewards, and supporting UTA Ski Bus rides for Season Passholders," according to Snowbird's majority of Snowbird's parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The resort also offers daily paid parking reservations. This winter, those paid parking slots cost between $20 and $50, depending on the day. The price of the daily parking reservations for next winter haven't been released yet but, according to Snowbird, they will be "priced dynamically based on demand." Reserved spots cost $20-$50 during the Winter 24/25 season. Snowbird has added more premium free carpool parking spots for next season. Vehicles with three or more passengers are parking passes aren't exclusive to Snowbird. Another Utah ski resort, Solitude, sold a cheaper $499 season parking pass for the 2024-2025 winter. Outside of the Beehive State, Crystal Mountain, Washington, sold a $1,999 A-Lot parking permit for the 2024-2025 season. Lake Louise, Alberta, sold a priority parking pass for CAD $ Snowbird, season passes for lift access are also now on sale. The Summit Pass, which includes complete access to Snowbird and no blackout dates, costs $1, purchased by May 14, the Summit Pass also includes the unique Freeloader Pass for free. It can be given to any skier or snowboarder who is 18-years-old or younger."No relation is required. Cool aunts, caring neighbors and good family friends can all participate," Snowbird's website reads. The Freeloader Pass, like the Summit Pass, provides unlimited access to Snowbird.

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari acquires Santa's Cottages resort
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Holiday World & Splashin' Safari theme park is now officially in the lodging business. Today, the park announces that is has acquired Santa's Cottages- a 23 acre lakeside resort complete with walking trails, lakes, playgrounds and a pool in Santa Claus, Indiana. This marks the first business acquisition for the park's 79 year history. Illinois Oil and Gas convention hopes to bring new interest to industry Santa's Cottages offers nature-filled stays, with fully furnished units, lakes available for cat-and-release fishing and recreational areas. Park officials say they hope that as they grow into the lodging industry they hope families will choose to visit the parks as a multi-day destination rather than a single-day trip. Holiday World recently announced that 2025 will be their longest season in recent history. The park opens for select Season Passholders during the weekend of May 3, and opens to the public on May 10. Splashin' Safari will open on May 17, and both parks are open daily beginning May 23.
