Panchayat actor Aasif Khan, who was recently hospitalised, has now been discharged. In a recent interview, Khan shared his health update and clarified that he never suffered a heart attack. 'So first of all, I want to clarify—it was not a heart attack. It was gastroesophageal reflux disease. The symptoms felt like a heart attack, but I'm totally fit,' he told ETimes. Aasif Khan further mentioned that the doctors have advised him to change his diet and avoid certain food types. Additionally, he has been advised to exercise more. 'I've been told to stop eating dal baati, limit my non-veg, and work out more. I don't think it should impact my work. Something or the other happens in everyone's life. People move on," he added. For the unversed, earlier this week, it was reported that Aasif Khan, known for his roles in the web series 'Pataal Lok' and 'Panchayat,' suffered a heart attack. The 34-year-old actor also shared a health update on Instagram, assuring fans that he was on the road to recovery and was feeling better. 'Life is short, don't take a single day for granted.
