KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A popular brewery in the Kansas City metro announced it's closing on Facebook today, June 4.
Pathlight Brewing, located in Shawnee, Kansas, says that it's 'with heavy hearts' that the decision was made. The brewery hosted events of all natures from run clubs, to music bingo and sports watch parties since 2020.

Pathlight's mission was about more than just brewing exceptional beer – it was about creating an inclusive space where this craft could spark community connection,' the brewery wrote on Facebook.
'New friendships were forged as patrons and staff bonded over everything from barleywine to Formula 1. This was the vision, and Pathlight nailed it.'
However, the brewery did say that there will be a farewell party on the weekend of June 20, which is the fifth anniversary of Pathlight Brewing.
