Kilkenny singer songwriter to celebrate release of third single with debut London gig
'Light It Up' is out on Friday August 15 and available to pre-order on iTunes and Spotify now

A singer-songwriter from Co Kilkenny is releasing his third single, Light It Up, this weekend.
Slieverue man Patrick Dowling (24) wrote this ode to a lads night out and said the song is set to be a radio favourite over the coming weeks.
In under three minutes, Patrick brings the listener on the journey of an unexpected pub crawl with friends and invites the listener to come along for the adventure.
'This is one of my happier songs,' said Patrick. 'It's about celebrating getting through the week with your mates, being spontaneous and leaning into being a giddy twenty-something year old.
"I hope it's a song people will relate to, see themselves and their friend groups in it, and if I'm lucky, play it loud as the summer winds down.'
Patrick is becoming known for his high-end visual materials focusing on the south east of Ireland through the support of his frequent collaborator, Alana Daly Mulligan.
Following their successful release of a music video for Colossal, the pair are back again producing short films and videos that celebrate Waterford's local culture and pub scene.
'We were so fortunate to have such amazing support from O'Sullivan's in Waterford who kindly let us use their beautiful space to film our music promos,' said Alana, the filmmaker behind the visuals.
"It again goes to show the generosity of Waterford people supporting their own, and speaks to the wealth of interesting cultural spaces we have in our city.'
'It's fantastic to be involved,' added Billy O'Sullivan, publican behind O'Sullivan's. 'We're a new face on the block but not really, there's been O'Sullivan's in this space since 1895 and we're keen to support our local artists, musicians and celebrate local culture.
"When Patrick walked into O'Sullivan's a few months ago, I was bowled over by his voice, presence and have come to know him to be a real gent, so when him and his team approached me about using O'Sullivan's as the setting for the song, it was a no-brainer.'

Following the release of Light It Up, Patrick will be embarking on a small London tour, featuring one of London's most exclusive pubs, The Devonshire in Soho.
'I'm really excited to be in London,' said Patrick. 'This song in many ways is about that longing for a night out back home and myself and Alana are working on some very exciting things while we're visiting.'
Patrick Dowling's third single, Light It Up, is out on Friday August 15.
The song has been produced, mixed and mastered by Gavin Doyle, with images and visuals by Alana Daly Mulligan.
