Nance, who was a fan favorite on season 28 of The Bachelor (aka Joey's season!), entered as an everyday nurse and left as a reality star — but in the years since her TV debut, she has become a cultural advocate for AAPI people everywhere. The proud Filipino, Black, Arbab, and Pacific Island-raised former Bachelor contestant underwent severe online hate throughout her time post-filming due to her 'blended' family background. 'Doing reality, it was a scary scenario to imagine myself in. But it also turned out the best way possible,' said Nance.
