Oasis guitarist leaves fans in stitches with just one word as he hits back at setlist comment

Paul Arthurs, known as Bonehead to Oasis fans, has left fans in stitches after he began replying to comments made on X about Noel and Liam Gallagher's Heaton Park setlist A hilarious reply from Bonehead, the rhythm guitarist from Oasis, has left fans in stitches. The one-word response to a query on X was shared to the r/Oasis Reddit page, where fans praised the founding member. Bonehead began his time with the Manchester band in 1991, leaving in 1999, and has since returned for the Live '25 tour dates. ‌ Following a series of sold out performances at Heaton Park in Manchester, Bonehead took to X and replied to a handful of Oasis fans. But not everyone was full of praise for the show, with a comment made in reply to the legendary guitarist. Bonehead's reply has left fans howling. ‌ ‌ Sharing a screenshot of the back and forth to Reddit, fans were left laughing at the one-word reply Bonehead gave a fan. Bonehead, real name Paul Arthurs, wrote: "It's gettin' better man." A reply to his post reads: "Same setlist as every other night." Bonehead then replied: "And????" Fans have said the post highlights the lighter side to the long-serving guitarist, who joined Liam and Noel Gallagher for the reunion shows this year. One fan wrote: "Setlist is almost perfect. Why change it." Another replied: "Agreed! Only thing that would make it better is Columbia." ‌ A third user posted: "If they change the setlist, people will get mad when they don't get to hear their favourite song, and rightfully so. Keeping the same setlist throughout the tour is fair to everyone." Other dedicated fans suggested changing the setlist at such an early point in the tour would make little sense. Oasis has played the same set each night, delighting fans with a series of their best-known hits. Some have suggested the lack of setlist changes means it is fairer for people going to just one show on the tour. A user wrote: "Not many going to multiple nights around the world tour, who gives a f**k if the set list is the same." ‌ Another added; "They are back together after 16 years, their heyday was 1994-1998, they are capitalising on the time they were everywhere. I'm not sure if a lot of people understand how big they were at that time." Other fans, who agreed with Bonehead's disregard for the need to change up the setlist, said Oasis were never known for changing up their setlist on previous tours. ‌ One user wrote: "Oasis were never, ever renowned for mixing up the set much (or even playing many songs). Look at the Be Here Now tour (although I noticed recently they played MBM on the first or second night then not again." Another added: "Honestly the only potential for change that I'd like to see is rotating a few songs in the Bring It On Down and Fade Away slots. Maybe a pool of songs including Columbia, Lyla, SCYHO, Go Let It Out, Hindu Times, maybe Shock of the Lightning." A third has suggested Noel's four song section could see a few more changes for the setlist. They wrote: "Its a great setlist overall. Some swaping an rotation for variation would be just fun and cool. "Add Importance Of Being Idle into the first batch of Noel Songs (Talk Tonight, Half The World Away, Little By Little), and play 3 out of the 4 every night."

The group, which has attracted as much media attention for the feud between members and brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher as for its chart-topping hits, is set to begin its Oasis Live '25 Tour in just a few days. The trek starts in Cardiff and includes dozens of shows throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Australia, and several countries in South America before wrapping in November. Just before launching what will surely be a top-grossing venture, Oasis recently released the remastered version of Time Flies… 1994–2009. The compilation almost hits No. 1 for the very first time on one tally in the group's home country, but misses out by a single spot. Oasis Barely Misses Out on a New No. 1 Album Time Flies… returns to the Official Vinyl Albums chart this week landing in the runner-up position. The title finds its way back to its all-time high point, which it originally reached just a few years ago. Time Flies… Stalls in Second Place Time Flies… also lands at No. 2 on the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most consumed releases in the nation. Unlike on the vinyl tally, however, the Oasis compilation has previously led the main ranking, but only once. Oasis Soars Back Into the Top 10 The same collection can also be found inside the top 10 on three additional rankings in the U.K. Time Flies… reappears at No. 3 on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts, while lifting one space to No. 6 on the Official Albums Streaming chart. Oasis Misses the Highest Spaces on the Downloads List Time Flies… fails to crack the uppermost region only on the Official Album Downloads chart, where it rebounds at No. 28. The surge in interest among Oasis fans in the U.K. seems tied to physical formats, as the remastered version sold particularly well on CD and vinyl – both available on the band's website, while downloads appear to have generated far less excitement. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and Definitely Maybe Are Also Rising As Time Flies… returns to the top 10 on nearly every chart it has previously appeared on, two other Oasis albums are also climbing. (What's the Story) Morning Glory? and Definitely Maybe appear on multiple lists, and in almost every instance, they are soaring.

Oasis Charts A New No. 1 Hit Ahead Of The Band's Reunion Tour

Oasis sends 'Some Might Say' to No. 1 on multiple U.K. charts for the first time after re-releasing ... More the tune on vinyl to celebrate its thirtieth anniversary. (Photo by) Oasis enjoyed one of the longest reigns ever as one of the most commercially successful bands in the United Kingdom. In the decades since the band broke up, the group's music has continued to stream and sell incredibly well. For a long time, there was no hope of a reunion, and brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher traded vicious barbs in the press. But countless prayers were answered in 2024, when the rock outfit announced a comeback. New music isn't expected, but Oasis is heading out on tour this summer ahead of what will surely be one of the highest-grossing and most exciting concert treks of the year. Shortly before beginning the trek, the band re-released one of its biggest hits, and it has now become a smash all over again. Oasis celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of "Some Might Say" by releasing the track on vinyl. Superfans of the group purchased copies of the pearl wax record in large enough numbers to make it a chart-topper on multiple lists in the U.K. "Some Might Say" appears on four charts in the U.K. this frame. It leads three of them and, interestingly, manages to reach the summit on three tallies in three different ways. The track debuts atop the Official Vinyl Singles chart. It rockets from No. 53 to No. 1 on the Official Physical Singles ranking. At the same time, it reenters the Official Singles Sales roster in first place. Oasis collects its third No. 1 on the Official Singles Sales chart with "Some Might Say." The band has previously topped that list, which factors in both digital and physical purchases, alongside "Supersonic" and "Whatever." The group earns a fourth champion on the Official Vinyl Singles chart, following "Stand by Me" as well as both "Supersonic" and "Whatever." The latter track dominated for three frames — the same length of time that "Stand by Me" managed. "Some Might Say" sold so well that it also returns to the Official Singles chart, which blends both purchases and streaming activity to show what U.K. music fans are listening to and consuming. On that ranking, where it originally opened at No. 1 back in 1995, it returns at No. 55 30 years later.
