What to expect from the Oasis reunion tour

Oasis fans have been eagerly awaiting 4 July, 2025 since the band's unexpected reunion tour was announced last summer - the date that Noel and Liam Gallagher will finally share a stage again for the start of their 17 UK shows. The reunited band are also set to head out across the world to shows in locations including the US and Australia. As the opening show date approaches, we take a look at everything we know so far about who'll be in the band, what the set list is likely to be, and who's supporting them. Of course, the tour sees brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher bury the hatchet as they reunite on stage together as Oasis for the first time since 2009. The Gallaghers will be joined by original Oasis band member Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, as well as Gem Archer and Andy Bell who both joined the band in 1999 and were part of the line-up until the 2009 split. For the 2025 tour, they'll also be joined by two new band members - Christian Madden, and Joey Waronker who has previously served as drummer for R.E.M. and Beck. Here's the band line-up you can expect to see on the 2025 tour: Liam Gallagher - vocals, tambourine Noel Gallagher - vocals, lead guitar Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs - guitar Andy Bell - bass Christian Madden - keyboards Joey Waronker - drums Reports earlier this year suggested that formerly estranged brothers Liam and Noel had not been rehearsing together, with their publicist commenting that they wanted to avoid being seen together before stepping out on stage on 4 July. However, they may have privately been rehearsing with the full line-up, as U2 star Bono, a friend of Noel's, told The Mirror: "I'm still very close with Noel. And he got a message to me, and he says that he's kind of shocked by how great the band is. So I think we're going to have a good summer." As yet, the set list has not been announced but is expected to include plenty of classics from the height of their fame. Fans shouldn't expect any new music as the band's co-manager Alec McKinlay told Music Week: "This is very much the last time around, as Noel's made clear in the press. It's a chance for fans who haven't seen the band to see them, or at least for some of them to. But no, there's no plan for any new music." We don't yet know the Oasis Live '25 set list, but this was what Oasis played at their last show, V Festival 2009: Intro tape: F**kin' In The Bushes Rock 'n' Roll Star Lyla The Shock Of The Lightning Cigarettes & Alcohol Roll With It Waiting For The Rapture The Masterplan Songbird Slide Away Morning Glory My Big Mouth Half The World Away I'm Outta Time Wonderwall Supersonic Live Forever Encore: Don't Look Back in Anger (acoustic) Champagne Supernova I Am The Walrus If you're headed to one of the 17 UK tour dates, you can look forward to seeing some other well-known faces ahead of Oasis appearing on stage. All of the UK shows are set to be supported by Richard Ashcroft and Cast, as announced in 2024. Oasis are also jetting off for a North American leg, which will be supported by Cage the Elephant, with Ball Park Music set to open for them in Australia. No support acts have yet been announced for shows in South Korea, Japan, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. Yes, there's still a chance to get tickets to see Oasis this summer despite their UK shows selling out quickly last year. A statement released on the band's official social media accounts on 25 June read: "As the shows are getting closer, Oasis promoters may be able to release a very limited number of additional tickets for sale once final sight lines are checked and the production is fine-tuned. These final production releases will happen over the coming days. Noel Gallagher looks stony-faced as he makes lonely tube journey to Oasis rehearsals – but Liam's entrance is chaotic

OASIS's famously grouchy songwriter Noel Gallagher proved he's still a man of the people as he took the Tube to his band's rehearsals in London. The Britpop legends got together for their first full reunion practice session today and Noel, 58, looked relaxed as he rode the District Line. 8 8 Dressed in all black, the bomber jacket wearing musician, who is worth an estimated £25m, was pictured sitting alone at Paddington Station before hopping aboard a train. It was a far cry from his rock 'n' roll star brother Liam's arrival as cameras clamoured to get a shot of him through the window of a car. The 52-year-old frontman looked to have loaded up on cough syrup and Lockets, presumably a bid to protect his trademark raspy vocals. However, the sight of a box load of throat medicine is likely to leave ticketholders, particularly those at dates later in the run, feeling a little nervous about Liam's stamina. It was Liam who yesterday revealed the brothers Gallagher would be blowing off the cobwebs and belting out their classic tunes today ahead of their hotly-anticipated summer stadium shows. The group's last gig was at V Festival in 2009, before they split following a huge row backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. The former feuding brothers have now put their differences aside as they get ready for the tour of the decade which kicks off next month. Noel and the rest of the Oasis - bassist Andy Bell, guitarists Gem Archer and Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, and drummer Joey Waronker - have already kicked off rehearsals, but now it's time for Liam to join them. The singer revealed the news in a post on social media platform X. One fan asked: "Happy Sunday man! Are you ready for rehearsals "There are only a few days left and you're joining the others?' Liam replied: "Yes Rasta D I'm in Tuesday to blow there minds [sic]." Another fan asked whether the Wonderwall singer was "excited" to begin rehearsals, to which Liam replied: "Can't wait." real reason Oasis are getting back together. According to our sources, Noel's eldest daughter Anais Gallagher was instrumental in helping her famous father and his brother Liam get talking again. The model, who is from Noel's first marriage to Meg Mathews, got to work on healing the rift, following her dad's split from second wife Sara MacDonald. The 25-year-old figured the breakdown of her dad's marriage could be an opportunity for her dad to focus on getting Oasis back together, and also reconcile with his younger sibling. 8 8 An insider said: 'Anais was one of the biggest sources of comfort and support for Noel following his divorce. "She was the one that was helping him get back on his feet and return to doing things he loved that had fallen by the wayside. 'Over the years, Noel had offered an olive branch to Liam, but he'd never taken it up. 'Anais could tell her dad really wanted both his brothers, Liam and Paul, by his side after the split so was determined to get them back in touch. 'She gets on great with Liam's sons Gene and Lennon so she asked them if their dad would be willing to hear her out. Thanks to her close relationship with Liam, she was able to call him. 'She worked hard to make sure they didn't look back in anger, if you like.
