Paul Millar took on the Ham to Lyme trail run on Saturday, July 5. The event follows the Liberty Trail, a historic route based on the journey taken by six villagers in 1685 to join the Monmouth Rebellion. Advertisement It starts at Ham Hill Country Park in Somerset and ends in Lyme Regis in Dorset. Participants experience a variety of picturesque locations, including Wayford Woods and Lambert's. Mr Millar finished the run in six hours, five minutes, and 59 seconds, placing him 104th out of 418 finishers. Other Hydro Harriers also participated in various parkruns on the same day. Andy White secured the 46th position out of 381 finishers at Longrun Meadow. At the Burnham and Highbridge event, Tom Warren-Locke, along with his daughter Edith, finished in 40m 49s. The following Saturday, July 12, saw more participation from the club. Advertisement Kev Barratt recorded a time of 22 minutes, two seconds at Seaton, finishing 23rd out of 309. Ian Salter clocked in at 21minutes, 10 seconds at Longrun Meadow, securing the 33rd spot out of 367 participants. Mr Millar also recently completed the Hydro Harriers-sponsored Piddlewood Plod 10k, finishing the trail run in 49 minutes, 46 seconds, placing him 27th from 138 finishers.
