Premier Travel to take on three former Baldwins Travel branches
The high street sites in Maidstone, Uckfield and Tonbridge are likely to open with Premier's branding at the end of this month or in early September.
It also revealed each shop is currently being rebranded, with new signage, systems, and in-branch materials being introduced over the coming weeks.
The agency claims the additional shops enhance its existing footprint in the South East, joining franchise offices in Seaford, Bexhill, and Reigate, along with the managed service branch Hallmark Travel in East Grinstead.
Managing director Paul Waters said: 'I've personally had the pleasure of speaking with the teams in recent months, and it's clear they share our passion for delivering exceptional, personalised travel experiences.
"We know they'll be a fantastic fit with our culture and values. This isn't just about growth for us — it's about protecting what matters in our industry: personal service, local knowledge, and long-term relationships."
Waters added: 'We're passionate about investing in the high street and keeping travel expertise accessible to all.
"With these new branches, we're not only creating stability, but also fresh opportunities for our staff, our customers, and our industry partners."
Premier stressed its commitment to working "collaboratively with the trade to maximise these new locations through stronger marketing, local events, co-branded activity, and shared expertise".
Waters explained how this expansion marked an "exciting time" in Premier Travel's story. 'We're proud to be investing in the high street, supporting local jobs as well as local communities and welcoming such talented teams into our growing network," he said.
It comes just a few days after Surrey-based Ashdown Travel announced it had hired 10 former Baldwins staff – including marketing and commercial manager Tricia Lester – and would open three new shops including one former Baldwins premises in the coming weeks.
