Silver alert issued for missing woman in Pembina County, North Dakota

May 17—GRAND FORKS — The North Dakota Highway Patrol and state Bureau of Criminal Investigation have jointly issued a silver alert for a missing woman from northeast North Dakota. The alert was issued Saturday, May 17, at the request of the Pembina County Sheriff's Office, according to a release sent to the media. The alert is for Jean Morrison, 79, of Walhalla, North Dakota. The release gives her description as a 5-5 white woman, 130 pounds, with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen at 5:38 a.m. at Walhalla Oil, driving a 2012 Black Chevy Cruze with Minnesota license plates LXY743. She was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, and traveling with a small black and white dog. She is considered a vulnerable adult. Anyone who might have information about Morrison is asked to contact the Pembina County Sheriff's Office at 701-520-0548.
