Orange Cat Has Dramatic Reaction to Mom Telling Him He Can't Have More Dinner

Orange Cat Has Dramatic Reaction to Mom Telling Him He Can't Have More Dinner originally appeared on PetHelpful. If you have a pet with a flair for the dramatic, you'll totally relate to this orange cat's reaction when his mom tells him dinner is over. His name is Chops, and the look on his face when he's denied more food has everyone cracking up. But it doesn't stop there. Chops takes it to the next level with a full-on dramatic faint that's pure comedy gold. And if you listen closely at the end of the video, you'll hear him purring. Is he really that heartbroken... or just a big faker? Chops totally cracked us up! The slow, dramatic lay down was the best part! Commenter @fiona pointed it out, too, "The slow fall of betrayal LOL!" Others got a kick out of Chops' reaction too and left more than 3,500 comments. @Lisa got close to 58,000 likes when she said what Chops was thinking, 'Watch as I waste away, mother...' @Ghost had the same thought, "MOTHER I SHALL PERISH. DO YOU SEE ME PERISHING?" and Chops' mom replied, "DINNER WAS A WHOLE 5 MINUTES AGO MOTHER!" We laughed when @originaldiasypippin shared, "From now on I will be using the phrase, 'Oh Chops, don't be so dramatic' in my fanciest British accent anytime someone is too much." Chops' mom said, "Chops approves this."Do Cats Purr When They're Upset? Most of us know that cats purr when they're happy and content, but did you know that cats also purr when they are upset, stressed, anxious, or scared? Vet Explains Pets shares the reason behind this kind of purring. "One interesting trend related to cats purring when they are mad is the idea that purring can actually be a self-soothing mechanism for cats. According to a feline behaviorist, when cats are feeling scared, anxious, or upset, they may purr as a way to comfort themselves. Purring releases endorphins in the cat's brain, which can help to calm them down in stressful situations.' There's also another reason that cats purr when they are upset, called frustration purring. "This type of purring is often seen in situations where a cat is feeling frustrated or overwhelmed. A veterinarian explains that cats may purr when they are mad as a way to release pent-up energy or frustration. It's their way of trying to cope with a situation that is causing them stress.' Maybe Chops was genuinely upset when his mom refused to feed him more. Or maybe he was so full from dinner that he was purring because he really was already content! Ridiculously Fun Corgi Puppies' ‘Obstacle Course' Is the Best Thing We've Seen All Day

Ridiculously Fun Corgi Puppies' 'Obstacle Course' Is the Best Thing We've Seen All Day originally appeared on PetHelpful. Some things are just impossibly cute, like corgi puppies - oh, and corgi puppy obstacle courses! Just check out this video to see what we're talking about. Not only is this total cuteness overload, but it is also, unsurprisingly, the best thing we've seen all day! What happens when four adorable, hungry corgi puppies have to traverse a fun little obstacle course to get to their food? Fun, laughs, and outrageous adorableness. That's what! As this video shows, the first part of this obstacle course consists of a barrier, some spiky, plastic padding that these little dogs have to jump over, a towel, a mini ball pit, and finally a tray of water. That last obstacle proves to be the biggest one for these little pups because none of them likes getting wet. The first pup makes it through the entire course of these. Their siblings, however, all get tripped up when it comes to crossing the water tray. At first, one of them sticks their paw in, but doesn't like the wet feeling, so they back away. But then they very quickly figure out that the only way is forward, and brave a few tentative steps through the water to get to their next one does the same, crossing the water very, very carefully. That leaves the last corgi pup, who looks more than a little bit frazzled as they realize that they must cross the water in order to get to their food. They bark in defiance, almost as if to say, 'No, I will not cross this moisture death pit!' However, they soon realize that they are protesting in vain, and realize that they must cross the water if they want to eat. Quite comically, they end up jumping right into the tray and making a big splash! Afterwards, they are finally able to join the canine siblings in enjoying some nice, tasty kibble! As this other video shows, these corgi pups are becoming well-versed in obstacle courses and challenging enrichment toys. This one is a moving surface that challenges them to learn how to make decisions in a calm, rational manner while they are under stress, according to the video's comments section. The comment added that playing on this moving surface will also help them develop body awareness and startle and recovery responses, which will go a long way towards helping them build confidence.
