Halifax boss Millington steps down
Halifax boss Chris Millington has stepped down after three seasons. The 49-year-old had been in charge of the National League side since May 2022 when he changed roles from assistant manager after Pete Wild left for Barrow. He twice led the Shaymen to top seven finishes and guided them to FA Trophy victory in 2023. "I am devastated that I will not be the man to lead Halifax Town back to the EFL but I believe the time is right for a change of manager," he told the club website. "The club needs a manager to come and build on the solid foundation and positive reputation that has been built over the last six years. "The club will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish everyone connected all the best."

Fleetwood: New one-year deals for Finley Potter and Phoenix Patterson
Fleetwood Town have activated one-year contract extensions for Finley Potter and Phoenix Patterson. Defender Potter, 21, played 32 games this season while forward Patterson, 24, made 46 appearances. They have followed on from Ryan Graydon and Ronan Coughlan also getting new deals to remain part of Pete Wild's squad. Fleetwood finished 14th in League Two in their first season after relegation from the third tier.

Fleetwood: Goalscoring midfielder Graydon to stay for another season
Fleetwood Town have triggered an option on Ryan Graydon's contract to keep the midfielder at the club for another season. Graydon will now be at Highbury for a third season as part of Pete Wild's squad. The 26-year-old Irishman joined the Lancashire club in 2023 from Derry City and has scored 17 goals in his 71 games for the Cod Army, including 13 this season. Fleetwood finished League Two in 14th place.

Rooney signs two-year deal to stay at Fleetwood

Festival of football to return to Isle of Man
FC Isle of Man is set to host a festival of football as part of its preparations for the 2025-26 FC, Radcliffe Borough and Fleetwood Town will visit the island for a series of matches from 18 to 20 marks the second event of its kind hosted at the Isle of Man's national stadium, The Bowl, in Douglas and this time includes teams from across the English football Manx club is in its fourth season competing in the North West Counties Football League. Festival organiser and Ravens vice-chairman Lee Dixon said the team was "very excited" to see the event, which attracted hundreds of visiting fans, grow in its second said he hoped those who travelled to the island would "use the opportunity to experience our stunning island as well all come together to support the teams we all love".Fleetwood head coach Pete Wild said: "The facilities will be there for us to train, which will be fantastic, and certainly mixing into that is the team bonding element and being away together." National League club Altrincham's manager Phil Parkinson said being a festival it was "something different to what we would normally experience"."I think it adds a little bit of flavour to it gives the fans something to look forward to and make a weekend of as well," he League North side Radcliffe's co-manager Anthony Johnson said playing games on "neutral ground" ahead of the season would be good for the players involved.
