Harvard speaker allegedly linked to Chinese Communist Party to ‘gather intelligence' from US

Government Accountability Institute President and author Peter Schweizer says the Harvard 2025 commencement speaker, Yurong 'Luranna' Jiang, is a 'classic example of Chinese propaganda'. Ms Jiang apparently worked for a Chinese Communist Party entity with extensive ties to Beijing's military and intelligence networks. 'These are often times middle-ranking bureaucrats in their late 20s that are going to the Kennedy School at Harvard,' Mr Schweizer told Sky News host James Morrow. 'These are people that are already part of the CCP party and government apparatus. 'We need to stop engaging in mirror imaging. 'It's part of a sophisticated effort that they have to undermine the United States to gather intelligence and to perpetuate the interest of the CCP.'

Arizona Governor blasted for vetoing bill limiting Chinese land ownership near military bases

Government Accountability Institute President and author Peter Schweizer says it should have been a 'no-brainer' for Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs to pass a bill for which she is coming under fire for vetoing. Ms Hobbs is being scrutinised for vetoing a bill which would have banned the Chinese government from owning a stake of 30 per cent or more of any property in the state of Arizona. 'Look at what just happened, what Ukraine just did with Russia,' Mr Schweizer told Sky News host James Morrow. 'They were able to smuggle in drones … and take out major aircraft at Russian military bases. 'If you own a vacant lot near military installations, there's no reason … that China could not execute the exact same type of operation. 'This is looking at the realities of warfare today. 'Drone technology and other advanced technologies would allow China to use these strategic locations near US military installations to launch military strikes.'

‘A waiting game': US-China trade war fallout hits Beijing

Government Accountability Institute President and author Peter Schweizer joins Sky News host James Morrow to discuss the ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China. 'We're in a waiting game right now,' Mr Schweizer said. 'China has made it clear they're not willing to negotiate, and Trump shows no sign of backing down. 'But I do think China is on the president's side here. Yes, the increase of goods in the United States may go up, there may be some economic disruptions. 'But the media reports out of China are that tens of thousands of Chinese are losing their jobs because factories are being closed. 'This is an economy driven primarily by exporting to the United States and exporting to the Western world. If they can't do that very effectively, they're in deep economic trouble.'
