These Peoria grocery stores are getting 'minor renovations.' Here's what we know
PEORIA – Both Schnucks stores in Peoria have been 'receiving minor renovations,' according to the company's media relations.
Work at the Knoxville Crossing location is expected to wrap up soon, while the company anticipates completing renovations at its University Street store around the end of the summer.
The former storefront – situated at 10405 N. Centerway Drive – is getting updated lighting on the 'fresh side of the store,' along with other updates to the bakery, deli and produce departments. During renovations, Schnucks media relations said the location will also receive 'a new Picadeli salad bar.'
At the 4800 N. University St. store, the renovation includes new frozen food and dairy cases. Some parts of the store are also 'receiving fresh lighting, painting and new flooring."
