Brooke Hogan questions circumstances around father Hulk Hogan's death, offers to fund autopsy
Brooke Hogan, daughter of late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, is publicly raising doubts about the circumstances surrounding her father's death and has offered to personally pay for an autopsy amid what she calls growing 'uncertainty.' Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, passed away on July 24 at the age of 71. A report from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center confirmed his cause of death as acute myocardial infarction (a heart attack) and revealed a previously undisclosed battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Brooke, 37, expressed shock over the leukemia diagnosis, calling it 'weird' given what she described as her father's history of good health. 'The man had a very complicated medical history,' she said in a recent Instagram post, adding that she had seen 'multiple near-perfect blood panels' in the past. 'Anyone would want answers,' she wrote. -Instagram/mizzhogan. She also voiced concern that Hulk was reportedly cremated without an autopsy, something she initially 'freaked out' about. However, she later clarified that the cremation had not yet taken place and that Hulk's widow, Sky Daily, was 'doing the research.' Brooke, who was estranged from her father in recent years and was reportedly removed from his will, did not attend his funeral. In her posts, she emphasized that her motive is to protect her father's 'dignity and legacy.' In contrast, Sky Daily, 46, pushed back against what she characterized as 'conspiracy theories' and 'heartbreakingly misleading media stories.' In a heartfelt Instagram statement, she said Hulk was 'deeply loved' and 'well cared for' until his final moments. She confirmed he had not yet been cremated, stating the family is taking time to ensure 'every question about his medical care is answered.' Sky also recalled the emotional funeral held at the same church where she and Hulk were married and baptized in 2023, describing it as 'one of the most beautiful and moving days' of her life.

Hulk Hogan's cause of death revealed as acute myocardial infarction - commonly known as a heart attack
Hulk Hogan's official cause of death has been revealed. Page Six can exclusively confirm that the pro wrestling legend died from acute myocardial infarction — commonly known as a heart attack — which is when blood flow to the heart muscle is suddenly blocked, causing tissue damage, per the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center. The document obtained by Page Six also shows Hogan had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), which is a heart condition characterized by an irregular and often rapid heart rate. Per the District Six Medical Examiner's record, the former WWE superstar also had a history of leukemia CLL, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells called lymphocytes. It does not appear that it was public knowledge that Hogan, born Terry Bollea, had ever battled cancer. His manner of death was ruled natural. The Pinellas County Forensic Science Center provided the latest updates in a cremation summary approval report. A spokesperson for the medical examiner's office tells Page Six, 'I am not aware when Mr. Bollea will be cremated, only that we received a request for cremation approval.' On July 24, Hogan went into cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Fla., and was transported via ambulance to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was 71. 'Unfortunately, we must confirm that Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, passed away this morning,' his reps told Page Six at the time. 'We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend.' Hogan's death came after weeks of speculation that his health was poor after he underwent a delicate neck surgery in May. However, his wife, Sky Daily, tried to quiet the noise, reportedly writing via social media on July 12, 'No, he's definitely not in a coma! His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true.' She then explained that Hogan had been 'recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusin (ACDF), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process.' The fitness trainer concluded at the time, 'He's healing and we're taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience.' Hogan's manager, Jimmy Hart, added via X on June 22, days before the wrestler died, 'Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal! Last night at karaoke with Nick [Hogan] was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!' Since Hogan's passing, his loved ones have issued public statements over the devastating loss. Daily, 46, wrote via Instagram on July 25 that her heart was 'in pieces,' adding, 'This loss is sudden and impossible to process.' Hogan's son, Nick Hogan, also paid a tribute to his 'best friend' via Instagram and wrote in part alongside a carousel of throwback photos, 'This has been overwhelming and extremely difficult.' The 'Hogan Knows Best' alum was also present for the WWE's televised memorial during 'Monday Night Raw,' and was seen visibly moved by the occassion. Hulk's daughter, Brooke Hogan, who was estranged from her famous dad in recent years, insisted via social media that despite any fallouts, their bond 'has never broken.' 'When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us,' she added in the lengthy Instagram post. 'I'm deeply grateful for the love, tributes, and memorials from his fans and friends. His life was one worth celebrating — and always will be.' It was then revealed that Brooke, 37, had asked to be removed from her father's will. Brooke and Nick's mother, Linda Hogan — who was married to Hulk from 1983 to 2009 — admitted in her tribute that she was still in love with her ex-husband and that it was 'so hard' to know he was gone.
