'Dream teacher' jailed 9 years for shocking sexual abuse of boy, 11
Parents were glowing in their praise of rookie teacher Anna Plaksyuk. Nearly universally, the married 25-year-old was described as a 'dream teacher.' But behind the Our Miss Brooks facade was a monster, Russian cops and prosecutors say. Plaksyuk has now been sentenced to nine years in prison after her sickening sexual molestation of one of her 11-year-old students emerged. Her twisted behaviour went on for months. The boy's mother discovered the secret sexual abuse that occurred in the shadows and online. Cops began investigating in January 2024 and found that Plaksyuk was committing 'violent acts of a sexual nature' against the young boy. A Russian court heard that the tawdry teacher unleashed her campaign of abuse in November 2023. It continued until his mom came across sexually charged content on his phone on Jan. 31, 2024. Plakysuk made the boy touch her breasts and kiss her on the lips. She would also keep him after school and lock him in the classroom alone with her. She 'stroked his private parts through his clothes.' At night and away from school, Plakysuk sent raunchy nude photos to the boy on WhatsApp, and insisted that he do the same in return. In addition to the photos, the teacher and student exchanged thousands of explicit messages. Horrified, the victim's mother contacted cops and the school's director after discovering the teacher's 'systematic flirting, stroking and kissing.' During interrogation, Plakysuk reportedly confessed to locking the boy in her classroom for their illicit meetings. She told shocked detectives that the desire went both ways. And besides, she told cops, she only began grooming the boy when he showed 'signs of attention' and 'made compliments' to her over the course of several months. After the teacher was arrested, the boy avoided school. In a Canadian twist, Plakysuk has been barred from teaching for just one year. Her sentence could have been 20 years. She had been in pre-trial custody for more than a year. 'This threatens the teacher with 20 years in prison. As a rule, in our country, crimes against children are punished very severely, so most likely she will receive a harsh but fair sentence,' her lawyer, Ilya Rusyaev, said after she was arrested. 'A child at this age is not only not fully mature but also may not be fully aware of their actions. Ultimately, such actions can cause psychological trauma to children. For this purpose, the law establishes an age of consent — in our country, it is 16 years.' Despite the measly one-year ban from teaching after she finished her prison sentence, the lawyer admitted that Plakysuk was 'no longer suitable' for teaching. 'This is incompatible with educational activities and demonstrates ignorance of the basic psychology of the child. Moreover, this is a violation of the ethics of the profession,' Rusyaev said. bhunter@ @HunterTOSun

'Dream teacher' jailed after horrific 'violent sexual acts' against pupil, 11
Anna Plakysuk, 27, has been sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty of 'violent acts of a sexual nature' with an 11-year-old boy she taught at a school. A 25-year-old primary school teacher has been jailed for nine years for her horrific abuse of an 11-year-old male pupil. The teacher, Anna Plaksyuk, committed "violent acts of a sexual nature" against the boy over several months, both online and behind closed doors. The abuse, which began in November 2023, was discovered by the boy's mother, who found disturbing content on his phone on January 31, 2024. During her trial in Russia, it was revealed that Plaksyuk made the boy touch her breasts and kiss her on the lips. She also kept him after school, locking him in the classroom where she would stroke his private parts through his clothes. Despite initial disbelief from some parents, who described Plaksyuk as a "dream teacher", the court found her guilty of the abuse. Plaksyuk had received her teaching qualification just three years prior to the allegations and worked at a school in Toksovo, Leningrad region. Outside the classroom, Plakysuk sent indecent photos to the 11-year-old on WhatsApp and pressured him to do the same. The two also shared explicit messages, leading the victim's mother to contact the police and school head after discovering the disturbing content, accusing the teacher of "systematic flirting, stroking and kissing". Upon initial arrest, Plakysuk admitted to the police that she trapped the boy in her classroom for their secret rendezvous and implied that the boy reciprocated her interest, reports the Mirror. She claimed she began her pursuit after he had "shown signs of attention" and "made compliments" over several months. Before receiving a nine-year jail term, Plakysuk had spent over a year in pre-trial detention, and at 27, the married teacher was convicted of "violent acts of a sexual nature against a person under 14 years old" and is barred from teaching for a year post-release. Plakysuk's husband has remained silent regarding the case, while the boy's mother disclosed that her son avoided school for an extensive period following the abuser's detention. While Plakysuk was handed nine years and a subsequent one-year teaching prohibition, initial thoughts suggested her sentence might be far more severe. Post-detainment, lawyer Ilya Rusyaev indicated that she potentially faced up to two decades in prison and could have been barred from teaching indefinitely. Rusyaev commented at the time: "This threatens the teacher with 20 years in prison. As a rule, in our country crimes against children are punished very severely, so most likely she will receive a harsh but fair sentence. "A child at this age is not only not fully mature but also may not be fully aware of his actions. Ultimately, such actions can cause psychological trauma to children. "For this purpose, the law establishes an age of consent; in our country, it is 16 years." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! He proceeded to mention that her offences render her "no longer suitable" for a teaching vocation – although it was later decreed that she might eventually resume teaching. Rusyaev added: "This is incompatible with educational activities and demonstrates ignorance of the basic psychology of the child. Moreover, this is a violation of the ethics of the profession."

Primary school teacher jailed after horrific 'violent sexual acts' on pupil, 11
A married primary school teacher has been sentenced to nine years in prison after an eleven-year-old boy's mum discovered evidence of a months-long campaign of abuse A female teacher has been sentenced to nine years behind bars after her vile behaviour towards a male student. The boy's mum was the person to find the shocking evidence of the sexual abuse, which had gone on for months behind closed doors and online. In the shocking case, which was discovered last January, a married primary school teacher was found to have been committing 'violent acts of a sexual nature" against a student. While the teacher, Anna Plaksyuk, was 25, the young boy was just 11. Plaksyuk had received her teaching qualification three years prior to the abuse being discovered, and worked at a school in Toksovo, in the Leningrad region of Russia. At the time the allegations were levelled against her, many parents at the school refused to believe the claims, describing Plakysuk as a 'dream teacher'. Plakysuk launched her campaign of abuse in November 2023, and did not stop until the boy's mother stumbled across worrying content on his phone on January 31, 2024. At her court hearing in Russia, it was heard that Plakysuk made the boy touch her breasts and kiss her on the lips. She was also found to have kept him after school and locked him in the classroom with her, where the married teacher 'stroked his private parts through his clothes'. Outside of the classroom, Plakysuk sent nude photos to the 11-year-old on WhatsApp, and insisted that he did the same in return. They also exchanged explicit messages alongside the photos, with the victim's mother contacting the police and the school director after discovering the horrifying content and accusing the teacher of 'systematic flirting, stroking and kissing'. Talking to the police when she was first detained, Plakysuk confessed to locking the boy in her classroom for their illicit meetings, but seemed to suggest that the desire went both ways. She told cops that she started her campaign after the boy had "shown signs of attention" and "made compliments" to her over the course of several months. Prior to being sentenced to nine years in prison, Plakysuk had been held in pre-trial detention for more than a year, and the married teacher is now 27. At her hearing, she was convicted of 'violent acts of a sexual nature committed against a person under 14 years of age', and has been banned from teaching for a year after she gets out of jail. Plakysuk's husband hasn't yet spoken on the case, while the boy's mum revealed that he stayed away from school for a long period of time after the abuser was first detained. While Plakysuk has been charged with nine years and a following one-year teaching ban, it was initially understood that her sentence could have been much harsher. Lawyer Ilya Rusyaev spoke after she was detained, and explained that she could have faced up to 20 years behind bars and never teach again. The lawyer said at the time: "This threatens the teacher with 20 years in prison. As a rule, in our country crimes against children are punished very severely, so most likely she will receive a harsh but fair sentence. A child at this age is not only not fully mature but also may not be fully aware of his actions. "Ultimately, such actions can cause psychological trauma to children. For this purpose, the law establishes an age of consent; in our country, it is 16 years." Rusyaev added that her crimes meant that she was "no longer suitable" for teaching - despite it now being ruled that she could one day return to the classroom. He explained: "This is incompatible with educational activities and demonstrates ignorance of the basic psychology of the child. Moreover, this is a violation of the ethics of the profession."
