PlanHub Earns Spot on Inc. 5000 for Fifth Consecutive Year, Defying Growth Odds Among America's Fastest-Growing Companies
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Aug. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- PlanHub, the leading cloud-based preconstruction platform, has once again been named to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, ranking No. 1786 for 2025. This marks PlanHub's fifth consecutive appearance on the prestigious list—a milestone that underscores the company's rare ability to sustain rapid growth over time, even as year-over-year revenue increases make the benchmark for qualification increasingly difficult to meet. As companies grow, maintaining the high percentage growth required for the Inc. 5000 becomes significantly more challenging. PlanHub's five-year streak is a testament to both the scalability of its business model and the enduring demand for its preconstruction solutions. In addition to its national recognition, PlanHub also achieved standout rankings: #83 among companies in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale, FL metro area #108 in the Construction category #180 in the State of Florida "Our continued presence on the Inc. 5000 year after year is no small feat—it reflects not just rapid growth, but sustained momentum and execution in a complex, competitive space," said Ro Bhatia, CEO of PlanHub. "It's incredibly difficult to maintain the growth ratio needed to qualify once your company hits scale, and yet here we are—five years strong. That speaks volumes about the value we bring to the construction industry and the dedication of our team." Founded with a mission to modernize preconstruction, PlanHub today serves over 500,000 construction professionals nationwide. Its all-in-one platform streamlines the bidding process, offers advanced takeoff and estimation tools, and fosters collaboration between subcontractors, general contractors, and suppliers. With the construction industry facing rapid change and growing complexity, PlanHub's Virtual Growth Summit 2025 is designed to equip professionals with the mindset and strategies to lead smarter and build stronger. This year's event focuses on three key themes: Building a Successful business: Most small businesses fail not due to lack of technical skill, but due to a lack of understanding of the principles and practices needed to build a successful business. For general contractors With rising costs, labor shortages, and supply chain disruptions, this session examines how general contractors can apply the principle of marginal gains—making small, targeted improvements across estimating, bidding, and subcontractor management—to stay competitive and grow in a challenging environment. "Year after year, our company has been fortunate enough to connect with seasoned construction professionals—both on our team and among our community of PlanHub users—who have learned how to win at every level," said Ro Bhatia, PlanHub CEO. New construction technology releases: April 2025
This story was originally published on Construction Dive. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Construction Dive newsletter. From an all-in-one preconstruction platform that surfaces project opportunities to a new visualization and reporting tool that links to 4D BIM models and a timber design platform aimed at structural engineers, the latest construction technology releases run the gamut of industry disciplines. Here, Construction Dive breaks down four of the latest products and enhancements to hit the market in recent months: West Palm Beach, Florida-based PlanHub has dropped the latest release of its project discovery, bidding and preconstruction software. PlanHub 2.0 allows users to discover new projects, connect with over 50,000 general contractors, track interactions, set reminders and manage bids, according to a news release. By combining every aspect of preconstruction into an all-in-one platform, PlanHub 2.0 empowers users to save time, strengthen industry relationships and efficiently manage project details from bidding to completion, the firm said. "2025 will be the year of construction tech-stack consolidation,' said Ro Bhatia, PlanHub CEO. 'Contractors are done settling for disconnected tools — they're demanding a do-it-all platform that seamlessly manages preconstruction across multiple stakeholders.' PlanHub says in the last three years, its network has grown rapidly, adding over 100,000 new general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers annually and now boasts 500,000 construction professionals in its nationwide network. Users can access hundreds of new jobs posted daily, and find projects that fit contractors' expertise and location, the firm said. PlanHub 2.0 officially launched for subcontractors in February, and the firm plans to release new versions for general contractors and suppliers later this year. London-based construction delivery platform provider XYZ Reality says it has built a better mousetrap to avoid delays and costly rework. The latest version of its XYZ Platform combines real-time data management, visualization tools and automated reporting, according to a news release. Key enhancements include: 360-degree site captures linked directly to a 4D BIM Model. Granular tracking for up to 95% of all construction activities, including intricate details such as cable installations and system components. Dynamic status updates that automatically adjust based on real-time data, providing a live reflection of onsite activities. Enhanced reporting and dashboards including quality metrics, planned versus actual progress and schedule and installation timelines within a single view. A streamlined user interface to ensure data access from any browser. Mobile data collection support, making it easier for teams to update progress and quality assessments in the field. 'If this platform had existed years ago, it would have saved countless projects from delays and costly rework,' said Brian Mattson, a strategic advisor to XYZ Reality and former Microsoft and Intel exec. 'The level of visibility and real-time insight XYZ Reality now provides is a game-changer for mission critical construction teams and advanced technology worldwide.' Topcon Positioning Systems has expanded its road construction offerings, including a new version of its mobile LiDAR scanner — the RD-M2. The scanner is part of the company's SmoothRide solution, which is designed to minimize road closures, shorten planning times and optimize processes when evaluating road surfaces while keeping crews safe. The scanner utilizes an integrated GNSS receiver, and the new version includes the ability to track more satellite constellations for added accuracy and options on the jobsite. 'Contractors face ever-decreasing margins, tighter specifications, and an increasing focus on meeting sustainability targets, while municipalities face ever-growing infrastructure development and maintenance challenges,' said Murray Lodge, executive vice president of Topcon Positioning Systems. 'The industry needs innovative approaches to resurface roads efficiently with long-lasting results, and these latest solutions are a step forward.' The company also announced expanded aftermarket solutions for pavers and a new solution for soil compactors and asphalt rollers. The new roller management system ensures consistent, high-quality pavement and base layers by leveraging real-time data and automation to optimize the compaction process, reduce rework and meet project specifications efficiently, the firm says. It is equipped with a wireless Android display, and positioning sensors can be interchanged between GPS and robotic total station-based systems. Additional options and sensors can be added depending on the customer requirements, such as temperature sensors and accelerometers. Australian startup CLT Toolbox has launched its beta program in the U.S. and Canada, giving structural engineers across North America early access to its suite of timber design tools. The platform offers a comprehensive set of calculators and analysis modules, enabling engineers to perform complex calculations with speed and accuracy, from sizing cross-laminated timber panels to designing connections and checking fire safety requirements. By centralizing these tools in one user-friendly platform, CLT Toolbox aims to make timber building design more efficient and accessible, the firm said in a news release shared with Construction Dive. It includes dozens of design tools covering CLT panels, glulam beams, dowel and screw connections and fire performance, all validated against relevant codes and standards. For the North American beta, CLT Toolbox is partnering with local engineers and timber suppliers to tailor the software to regional needs. Since its initial launch in Australia in late 2023, CLT Toolbox has rapidly gained traction among structural engineers, surpassing 3,500 users worldwide in just two years, according to the news release. The company has also secured $1.6 million in venture funding to fuel its global expansion and build a team of 44 experts to develop and support the software. A full North American rollout of CLT Toolbox is expected later this year following the beta phase. Sign in to access your portfolio
