Peter Andre announced for new two-day festival in Eastleigh
One of the most recognisable faces in showbiz has been announced for a festival hitting Eastleigh this spring. Peter Andre is set to grace the stage at Playing the Field Festival 2025, a brand new music event coming on May 24 and 25. The singer - who has three UK number ones - will join the likes of Feeder, The Coral and The Hoosiers performing at the festival's debut at the Silverlake Stadium in Eastleigh. In an Instagram post, Playing the Field Festival said: "From topping the charts with 'Mysterious Girl' to selling millions of records, Peter Andre has been a pop icon for over three decades. "His infectious energy, smooth vocals, and signatures moves are set to bring major nostalgia and good vibes to our festival stage." The event, set to become an annual fixture, promises a great live music line-up, globe trotting DJs, local music legends and other activities. Saturday May 24 is a family-friendly event with children of all ages welcome. Sunday May 25 is Dance in the Field day with the event open to strictly over 18s only.
