LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie Is A Toy With A 'Working' V12 Engine

Aston Martin and the LEGO Group have now unveiled their collaborative project, the LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie. With this, Aston Martin and the LEGO Group have worked to redefine the brand's most iconic hypercar, leveraging the design prowess of the lego maker. The LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie has been unveiled as part of a wider collaboration between LEGO Technic and Gameloft Asphalt Legends UNITE gaming platform. As part of the partnership, gamers will now be able to play both the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the LEGO version in-game. The Lego version of the hypercar incorporates the key features of the original car. The LEGO Group has put together a 707-piece set to induce real-world-like aerodynamic curves, signature Podium Green livery, functional gullwing doors, and a top-mounted lever that controls the steering. While the LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie is a toy, it does possess a working V12 engine with moving pistons and a working differential. The Aston Martin and the LEGO Group have now been unveiled and have been slotted for their "official launch" on 1st August 2025. It is said to be priced around USD 60 (Rs 5,000 approx) and will be available with a single color option, which is Podium Green. Prospective customers can place the order via the LEGO Group's official website. While this model may not move on the roads, the LEGO Technic Aston Martin Valkyrie can be a fun drive in the corridors or a showpiece on the bookshelf. The Aston Martin Valkyrie has a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine developed by Cosworth and is paired with a hybrid unit. The hypercar is capable of producing a combined 1,160 hp and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 2.5 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 400 kmph.

Watch - Aston Martin Valhalla makes its dynamic debut at Monaco

The Aston Martin Valhalla made its dynamic debut on the weekend around the Monaco street circuit. Driven by two-time Formula One World Champion and Aston Martin F1 driver, Fernando Alonso, the Valhalla was showcased in its natural habitat; an ultra-wealthy principality. Previously seen only in static displays, this Valhalla was wearing an AMR25-inspired Podium Green and Lime Green livery for its on-track debut. 'Unveiling Valhalla's dynamic capability at the Monaco Grand Prix weekend is a fantastic moment for both myself and the brand,' said Alonso. 'Valhalla delivers everything you'd expect from a true supercar—power, handling, emotion—and does so with cutting-edge F1-inspired technology.' Read more 2024 Aston Martin Vantage review The Valhalla is the first series-production mid-engined supercar in Aston Martin's 112-year history and represents a leap into hybrid performance territory. At its heart is a bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 (the most powerful V8 ever fitted to an Aston Martin) combined with a plug-in hybrid system producing 1079PS and 1100Nm of torque. It's also the first Aston Martin to feature a dual-motor front axle, allowing torque vectoring and enabling full all-wheel drive. Developed in close collaboration with Aston Martin Performance Technologies (AMPT), the Valhalla is said to benefit from Formula 1 expertise in aerodynamics, materials, and chassis dynamics. Aston says this partnership ensures the Valhalla delivers not just headline numbers, but a level of engagement and precision befitting the Aston Martin badge. Adrian Hallmark, Aston Martin's CEO, described the moment as a milestone for the brand: 'To witness the culmination of the tireless work from all teams involved, showcased on an iconic F1 circuit like Monaco and driven by an icon like Fernando is a significant moment in Aston Martin's rich history of both road cars and racing.' Limited to just 999 units, production of the Aston Martin Valhalla is on track for customer deliveries in the second half of 2025.

1064-HP Aston Martin Valhalla Supercar Looks Sharp in Testing Photos

Aston Martin is testing its new on the road in the United Kingdom and on the track in Spain. Production will begin in the second quarter of this year, with only 999 units set to be built. The Valhalla's twin-turbo V-8 is paired with three electric motors, making a combined 1064 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque. Aston Martin revealed the Valhalla supercar in what should be its final form last December, after two years of delays and a round of substantial changes compared with the original car presented in 2019. Now, Aston Martin is moving one step closer to production, which is supposed to kick off in the second quarter of this year, by showing off the Valhalla testing on the road in a new set of images. The final validation sign-off seen in the photos took place on roads in Aston Martin's home, the United Kingdom, as well as on the IDIADA proving-ground track near Barcelona, Spain. The on-track pictures show the dramatic supercar in a pair of green liveries: one pairs a Podium Green body with a Lime Green stripe, while the other matches the shimmering Verdant Jade with Valkyrie Gold accents. Along with Aston Martin engineers, the automaker employs a professional, three-time Le Mans class-winner Darren Turner, as a development driver. These final tests focused on steering, active aerodynamics, and thermal braking performance, utilizing the high-speed banking as well as the wet handling circuit. The Valhalla pictured on the road—seen in Satin Scintilla Silver with a thin Lime Green stripe—is receiving the final damper calibration. The Valhalla represents a big step for Aston Martin. While the company already built 275 mid-engined Valkyrie hypercars, the Valhalla becomes the brand's first series production mid-engined machine (although still limited to 999 units), and its first plug-in-hybrid model. It also features a revised 4.0-liter V-8 engine that now uses a dry-sump design and is paired with a new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The gearbox contains one electric motor, while the other two live on the front axle, taking total output to 1064 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque. With that much muscle on hand, the Valhalla is capable of a claimed 2.5-second sprint from zero to 62 mph and a top speed of 217 mph.
