Will Ashley says he is open to do voice acting again
Will Ashley once lent his voice to the character of Ash Ketchum in the Tagalog dub of "Pokémon XYZ."
In an interview with GMA News Online at the sidelines "Pinoy Big Brother: The Big ColLove" concert on Sunday, Will said that he is open to venturing into voice acting again.
"Why not? Gusto kong mag-explore ngayon. Gusto kong maka-try ng iba't ibang bagay sa aking career. Kung mabibigyan ako ng chance, bakit hindi?" he said.
"Pokémon XYZ" is the 19th season of the hit anime series. The show first aired on GMA in 1999 and had a rerun in 2019, featuring Will and Sofia Pablo as the celebrity dubbers for Ash and Serena, respectively.
Will was among the 20 housemates of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition," where he finished as the second Big Placer along with his Kapamilya duo, Ralph De Leon.
The Nation's Son is set to appear in GMA Prime series "Sanggang-Dikit FR" and the music video for Hey June's song "Lasik."
He also stars as Arvin, a law student in the upcoming "Bar Boys" sequel.
Will was recently nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the FAMAS Awards 2025 for his performance in the film "Balota." —MGP, GMA Integrated News
