Images show how missing man could look 22 years after disappearance

New pictures showing how a man who disappeared more than two decades ago could look now have been released by police. David McCallum was last seen in the Rowardennan area of Loch Lomond on March 30, 2003. The 31-year-old's car, a black Ford Focus, was found near where he was last seen. David was reported as missing the following day. Despite extensive investigations, there have been no confirmed sightings of David who would now be 54. Two potential sightings were reported in Sussex in 2017 and in the Tower Hill Underground Station in 2019. David is described as 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build and with dark brown hair. Police Scotland Dundee University created age progression images showing how the missing man might look now as part of a current review for police. Detective inspector David Lavery, Dumbarton Police Office, said: 'We regularly review unsolved missing person cases and there have always been unanswered questions around David's disappearance. 'There have been a number of appeals over the years, including by the charity Missing and on television documentaries. 'These latest images show what David may look like now. If anyone recognises David from these images, or has any information that can help our enquiries, please contact us. 'I would appeal particularly to anyone who was wild camping in the Lochan Maoil Dhuinne area the weekend David was last seen, as well as people who have worked with the homeless community in London over the years.' Those with information are urged to contact the Missing People's Charity via telephone on free phone 116 000 or by visiting the Missing People website.
