MILAN FUTURO v CAMPOBASSO: MATCH PREVIEW

MILAN FUTURO v CAMPOBASSO: MATCH PREVIEW Milan Futuro will conclude the month of March with a home match against Campobasso, who were promoted last season and now very much in the play-off picture. At the Felice Chinetti in Solbiate Arno, Coach Oddo's side are on the hunt for some vital points in order to improve their precarious position in the table. Here is our Match Preview ahead of the upcoming league clash on matchday 34. LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO There's no doubt about it: it's a tough situation. In March, we've played out two home draws and suffered three narrow defeats, with one constant: when we've opened the scoring (Legnago, Pineto, Pontedera), our opponents have always struck back. The team have made progress physically and in terms of style of play, but we're now into the final stretch of the season and there aren't many opportunities left to pick up results and points. We need to quickly find some consistency, starting from this match against a side we did well against in the reverse fixture. Sia is out through suspension, as is Coach Oddo (Coach Donatelli will take his place in the dugout). Bartesaghi, Minotti and Quirini are one booking away from suspension. LATEST FROM CAMPOBASSO Compared to when the teams last met in December, Campobasso have recovered somewhat from a very poor run of form - 13 games without a win between November and February - but without any half-measures. Indeed, their last eight matches have seen them win four and lose four under Coach Fabio Prosperi, who replaced Braglia in January. The Lupi haven't won away from home since 22 February (2-1 against SPAL in Ferrara), but their 2-1 victory over Carpi last time out has reignited their play-off ambitions. In particular, the Rossoneri will have to watch out for Campobasso's top two goalscorers, namely captain Di Nardo (ten goals this campaign, but just one in his last nine appearances) and former Sampdoria man Di Stefano, who, however, is yet to find the net in 2025. They have no suspensions, but the injured Morelli is unavailable. Advertisement "There are elements of high technical and tactical quality, it's not just a team focused on the future. It will be a very important and difficult match, in which we will try to get a positive result", Coach Prosperi stated on the eve of the match. WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV In Italy, the game will be live on TV on Sky Sport e NOW. MILAN FUTURO v PONTEDERA: MATCH PREVIEW

We must put the loss against Pineto behind us, and Pontedera are our next opportunity to try and move up from the bottom of Serie C which hasn't been kind to us so far this season. Milan Futuro are back in action on Saturday 15 March at 15:00 CET at Stadio Felice Chinetti Stadium, and we are getting ready for the game with our Match Preview. LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO Getting up the table is not only possible, but necessary. It is a question of pride rather than standings. At the bottom of the table - tied with Legnago Salus - and having changed manager, Oddo's squad are looking to turn things around at the end of the season. Currently it is complicated and it has been generally negative but the team are lively, committed and determined to react. This was clear to see in Pineto, where, not for the first time, the Rossoneri got in front but then lost due to some slack errors which gave the opposition avoidable goals. We will need to pay more attention and to be more clinical in attack to take points. LATEST FROM PONTEDERA Pontedera are having some issues - they are the team with the least draws - and after a great start to 2025, their campaign has slowed down. In the last month, they have won only one and lost four, including last week's defeat to Pescara: 0-3 where they were generally too passive and without much attacking threat. They won't be happy in 14th place and they are not certainly safe from the drop even though they are eight points clear of the relegation zone. Their shining talents are strikers Italeng and Corona who play in Menichini's 4-2-3-1. WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV In Italy, the game will be live on TV on Sky Sport e NOW.
