Obsessed with ‘The White Lotus', Emma Roberts wants a role
Emma Roberts has made her White Lotus dreams known and she's more than willing to be the next murder victim. Speaking to PopSugar, the 34-year-old actress revealed her obsession with HBO's darkly comedic series The White Lotus. 'I'm unwell from The White Lotus,' Roberts joked. 'I want to be on next season, but that's such a dumb thing to say because who doesn't?' Eager to join the ensemble cast, Roberts said she'd take any role, even the most unfortunate one. 'I'll just be the body,' she quipped, referring to the series' recurring plot device involving mysterious deaths. Though Roberts only recently caught up with the show, she admits she's completely hooked. 'I'm always late to the party,' she said. 'I always read and watch things after everyone's already talked about it… now I'm totally addicted.' With a career spanning films like Palo Alto, Valentine's Day, and We're the Millers, Roberts has carved her own path in Hollywood, though she's also been vocal about the pressures and misconceptions surrounding 'nepo babies.' As the niece of Julia Roberts and daughter of Eric Roberts, Emma knows the advantages and the downsides of having a famous family. 'People only see your wins… they don't see all the rejection along the way,' she said on the Table for Two podcast. While her family ties opened some doors, Roberts insists that she's had to prove herself repeatedly. 'If people don't have good experiences with your family, then you'll never get a chance,' she added. For now, Roberts is just hoping White Lotus creator Mike White gives her a chance, even if it's face-down in a pool.

Emma Roberts reveals her White Lotus ambition
Emma Roberts would love to play the next murder victim on The White Lotus. The 34-year-old actress is a huge fan of the hit HBO series, and Emma would jump at the chance to star on season four of the show. She told PopSugar: "I'm unwell from The White Lotus. I want to be on next season, but that's such a dumb thing to say because who doesn't?" Emma would even love to play the murder victim on the next season of the show. She said: "I'll just be the body." Emma is "totally addicted" to The White Lotus, even though she was "late to the party". The actress explained: "I'm always late to the party. "I always read and watch things after everyone's already talked about it, and then everyone's like, 'Shut up, we've already talked about it.' So I was late to The White Lotus and now I'm totally addicted." Emma has already achieved huge success in her career, starring in movies such as Palo Alto, Valentine's Day and We're the Millers. But the actress previously claimed that the public underestimates the challenges faced by so-called nepo babies. The Hollywood star - whose aunt is actress Julia Roberts and whose father is actor Eric Roberts - said on the Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi podcast: "People kind of only see your wins because they only see when you're on the poster of a movie. They don't see all the rejection along the way. "That's why I'm always very open about things I've auditioned for and haven't gotten the part for. "I think it's important to talk about - otherwise people just think everything's been so great and linear and easy, and no, it's not at all. But of course it looks like that to the outside perspective or to the naked eye." Emma suggested that having family ties to Hollywood can be a double-edged sword. She said: "I think there's two sides of the coin. People like to say, you know, you have a leg up because you have family in the industry. "But then the other side to that is you have to prove yourself more. "Also, if people don't have good experiences with other people in your family, then you'll never get a chance."

She gets revenge on her ex with his dad, & other fantasies
A study has found that women who read romance or erotic novels have 74 percent more sex with their partners than those who ignore the literary genre. Research on sexual fantasies, published in Psychological Bulletin, further claimed that those who read romance and erotica also have better sex. The genre has always been popular. We all know about the massive success of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy by E.L. James but there are many other blockbusters, such as It Ends With Us, by Colleen Hoover, which have sold over 10 million copies. Part of the appeal is the clear link between spicy literature and sexual wellbeing. An age-old argument about smut is that it promotes unrealistic fantasies for readers, and that living in these fictional worlds will leave women disappointed. But a large part of sexual wellness is fantasy, as illuminated in Gillian Anderson's latest book Want: Sexual Fantasies, a collection of anonymous sexual fantasies of women from around the world. In a personal essay for Pop Sugar, Chloe Dunn speaks about being able to explore your desires without shame when reading spicy books. Whether it be an array of kinks, or a situation that turns you on which you will never be able to experience in real life, the smut world will always have a book which will allow you to explore your wildest fantasies. Erotic novels are often seen as an empowering tool within the romance-reading community, but they are also an educational tool. Sex education at schools – when they are available – often focuses on the health perspective rather than on wants and desires. Erotic novels educate readers on how to practise safe sex in a spicy way. As Christina Bravar writes, 'Romance novels can serve two helpful purposes when it comes to your sex life. One, reading a romance novel of any heat level engages your largest sex organ, the brain. Thinking about connection and intimacy prior to getting physical can be stimulating, something particularly important for most vulva owners. And two, many steamy romance novels model ideas, techniques, and positions that may be new to you.' Readers are also likely to come across new positions, techniques and ideas. And then there is the prioritisation of female pleasure. Many popular books are being written by women, for women and therefore have a focus on the female main character's pleasure and their partner making sure their needs are met. This theme alone has been giving women more confidence to ask for what they want in bed. Alyssa Davis wrote an article for The Every Girl about how smut helped her sex life and her relationship. She spoke about having a low sex drive regarding all things sex, describing this as a 'task'. However, once she started reading smut it was like a flipped switch and her relationship with sex and intimacy was 'revolutionised'. Davis believes the main link between the two was that reading these books helped her become more confident and curious about her sex life. Women's sexual wellness is the subject of SmutTok, an online community of readers on TikTok who come together to discuss their smutty reads. Many are very open about what turns them on when reading various books. One trend which has started popping off on BookTok is couples reading copies of the same book together. A key aspect to improving sexual wellness is removing the shame and stigma around sex. Romance and erotic fiction liberate the reader. It gives women permission to explore their sexual selves. Here are seven especially spicy novels on the shelves of my Remuera romance bookshop Enamoured. The chilli-pepper ratings measure hotness. Your Dad Will Do, by Katee Robert: A scorching weekend where a gal gets revenge on her ex fiancé with his dad. 'I end up on his front porch in a short black dress and thigh-highs … He skates his hand up my side barely brushing the curve of my breast before he grips my chin just tightly enough to hurt. 'Is that what you want, Lily?' He presses two fingers to my bottom lip and I open for him.' 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ The Nanny, by Lana Ferguson: More Daddy fantasy: an Onlyfans creator goes to nanny for a hot single dad. 'I actually haven't ever lived with a hot guy before. Especially not one who attempts (and fails, but it's sort of cute) at pancakes and worries about how to connect with his kid. It's a job, I remind myself. It's just a job.' 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Consider Me, By Beca Mack: A romance between professional hockey pro Carter Beckett and teacher Olivia Parker. He's arrogant, self-centred, and dates an endless string of women. But Olivia is determined to resist his charms, and says, 'I have the solution to all my sexual frustrations in a drawer at home, and it's far less complicated than Carter Beckett … Then I start letting my guard down, and he starts showing me pieces of himself I had no intention of seeing.' 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Pucking Around, by Emily Rath: Another hockey romance – and it's got everyone talking. Just when you think it's gotten as spicy as it can, it turns up another level. 'My name is Rachel Price, and two months ago I walked away from The Perfect Man – sweet, funny, and so sexy he should be illegal. We shared one magical night. No names. No strings. I never thought I'd see him again. I was wrong. As it turns out, Mr. Perfect is the playboy grinder for the NHL's hottest new hockey team … and thanks to the ten-month fellowship I just landed, I'm his new physical therapist.' 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ His Girl Hollywood, by Maureen Lee Lenker: An elegant yet filthy read set in glamourous 1930s Hollywood. The author based her lead male character on legendary dancer and actor Gene Kelly: 'I think he's one of the hottest men who ever lived.' 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Saint, by Sierra Simone: A queer romance about Aiden Bell, a former playboy who became a monk, and his forbidden love for Elijah Iverson, who is now engaged to someone else. 'I want the memories to be worth the sins.' 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ My Dark Romeo, by L.J Shen and Park S. Huntington: This story tells Romeo and Juliet like you've never been told before, in a tale about an arranged marriage between a cruel billionaire heir and a feisty heiress unafraid to fight back. Incredible line: 'I would let him ruin me as thoroughly and impressively as Elon Musk destroyed Twitter.' 🌶️🌶️🌶️

'I tried Sir David Attenborough's 10-minute tip for health boost'
Sir David Attenborough shared advice for people looking to reconnect with nature, and our reporter tested out the tip It's no secret that many of us feel disconnected from nature thanks to our lifestyles. Whether you spend your day rushing from one meeting to the next or you're stuck behind a screen for hours, it's easy to spend the better part of the day indoors, and yet, being out in nature can boost our mental wellbeing. I'm sorry to say I'm one of the many people who often miss out on the benefits of spending time outdoors. More often than not, I'll go to the gym to work out, and when I do go for a walk or run outdoors, I never stop to smell the roses, so to speak. So I was intrigued when I heard Sir David Attenborough's advice for people keen to reconnect with nature—and even more interested to learn that this simple practice is associated with a whole host of mental and physical health benefits. The broadcaster and naturalist, who turns 99 today (May 8), shared his wisdom in a 2021 episode of Call Of The Wild. He told podcast host Cel Spellman about a simple practice that doesn't require much time. "Sit down. Don't move," said Sir David. "Keep quiet. Wait ten minutes. You'll be very surprised if something pretty interesting didn't happen. Doing that in a woodland, if you haven't done it, it's extraordinary. Don't get too impatient, either." What's more, research suggests following the advice could boost your physical and mental health. A 2020 study from Cornell University found that students who spent as little as 10 minutes in the natural world daily were less affected by physical and mental stress. "It doesn't take much time for the positive benefits to kick in - we're talking 10 minutes outside in a space with nature," said Associate Professor Gen Meredith at the time. "We firmly believe that every student, no matter what subject or how high their workload, has that much discretionary time each day, or at least a few times per week." Elsewhere, Professor Heather Eliassen of Harvard University told Pop Sugar that exposure to green space has been linked to improved sleep and blood pressure, along with reduced risks of chronic disease. "Evidence is also accumulating that exposure to green space is associated with lower total mortality," added Professor Heather. Intrigued, I told myself I'd try to spend ten minutes outside every day to boost my mental and physical health, and while I had to settle for my garden rather than woodland, I enjoyed my time so much that I'm keen to make it a daily habit going forward. Just ten minutes outside left me feeling refreshed and less stressed. I surprised myself by finding that I really enjoyed cloud gazing, watching seagulls flying overhead. Over the sunny bank holiday weekend, I could hear children's laughter echoing from a nearby garden. On the colder days, when nobody else was outdoors, the quiet was calming. It was nice to have a moment to myself, watching a neighbour's tree sway in the breeze. It was a great reminder that you can enjoy nature wherever you find it. While I don't have any hard evidence that the practice improved my health, it's easy to see why it could make a difference. I took my ten minutes at the end of each work day, offering myself the chance to decompress and clear my mind before continuing with my evening. It was so simple and yet so effective.

Made In Chelsea's Olivia Bentley shows off her chiseled abs in a tiny bikini for racy snap
Olivia Bentley ensured all eyes were on her with her latest Instagram post on Thursday. The former Made In Chelsea star, 29, posed up a storm in a tiny paisley-print bikini that showed off her incredible figure. The daring two-piece featured a baby blue waist and strap detailing and she accessorised with dainty jewellery. Olivia shielded her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses as she struck a pose for the sexy snap. She simply captioned the post with a sun emoji. Last month, Olivia showcased her washboard abs in a skimpy bikini as she shared an album of snaps to Instagram. The reality star wowed in a khaki two-piece which featured a golden ring design. To accessorise, Olivia kept it simple with a dainty gold chain necklace which matched her thick gold bangle. She finished her beachy look with a pair of large aviator spectacles and opted for a sun kissed no-makeup look. Olivia showcased her natural beauty as she lifted her luminous blonde tresses into a chic middle-parted up-do. It appeared to remind her fans of her time on Made In Chelsea as they flocked to her comments to say they miss her on the show. One penned: 'Beautiful women so much on MIC'; 'Miss you on made in chelsea'. And while her fans may have confessed that they miss the reality star on the show, she recently revealed the 'real reason' why she left. She found fame on the reality programme back in 2016 and has decided to take a break from filming the E4 show after eight years. A spokesperson said Olivia wanted to focus on her own business Jomo after her relationship breakdown with Tristan Phipps last year. However, the TV personality has now said one factor played a major role in her realise it was time for a break. Speaking with Pop Sugar, Olivia said: 'I was struggling with deciding whether to stay on the show or not. 'The last series was really hard and speaking honestly, I was drinking a lot more than I normally do. I was drinking unnecessarily and to mask sadness. 'I was relying on booze to give me energy, make me feel happier, give me confidence — all the wrong reasons. 'I was trying to bring the energy to be the Liv that everyone thought I was but inside, I was really unhappy, and that's why I stopped drinking. 'But I'm still close with my friends who are on the show and our friendships have stayed the same.' Earlier this year, a source told The Sun that Olivia was tired of being at the front of all the drama on the hit reality show. They said: 'Liv has been at the forefront of all the drama for years - she's been there the longest out of everyone. 'It's been hard-going in recent series with her relationship with Tristan breaking down and she realised she needs to take a step back for her own good. 'She's in a really great place and still loves the show so is taking a step back for now. There's some new stars joining the cast who are ready and raring to shake things up a bit.' A Channel 4 spokesman confirmed earlier this year: 'Liv Bentley has been sharing her life with Made in Chelsea audiences for the past eight years and is now taking a short but well-earned break from the series to focus on her business – JOMO. 'We look forward to welcoming her back to the show later this year.' Liv has been on the show since series 11 back in 2016, starting off as a previous fling of Sam Thompson. She went on to be a central character on the show, with her on-and-off relationship with Tristan, 28, being a hugely dramatic storyline. She is believed to be currently single after the couple split once and for all last year, with the messy breakup was documented on the Channel 4 show. Both stars moved on with other partners, with Liv dating David Templer before realising she wasn't ready for another relationship.
