Abergele Harriers quartet run in extremely hot conditions
Up north, Sean and Steven McCormack took on the Leeds Marathon, which besides being hot also has some tough climbs.
Pacing another runner, and running for charity for Team Hari, they finished together in a time of 5:53:28.
Meanwhile, Rachel Shipley and Darren Blazier travelled in the opposite direction to run the hilly Caerphilly 10k.
Running in a North Wales Regional team, Rachel finishing 19th lady in 40:54, despite illness on the day.
Darren also ran for the North Wales team as a last-minute replacement, finishing in 40:08.
The previous day, Harriers mumer Anthony Howe was also in Leeds, taking on the Potternewton Parkrun.
He finished in a time of 35:42, to take 117th position.
