India emerged as shining spot during times of global uncertainty...: BJP's Pradeep Bhandari
New Delhi [India],May 25 (ANI) : BJP leader Pradeep Bhandari on Sunday said India has emerged as a shining beacon amid global economic uncertainty, becoming the world's fourth largest economy. Bhandari credited this remarkable rise to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visionary leadership over the past 11 years, strengthening India's economic foundations and propelled the country's rapid growth despite global challenges. Speaking to ANI, Bhandari said,'India has become the 4th largest economy. Under the vision of PM Modi, the economy has become strong in all aspects in the last 11 years. India has emerged as a shining spot during the times of global uncertainty...' 'This is a big victory for Modinomics. Today, India is the fastest growing economy and now it has become a 4 trillion dollar economy, surpassing Japan. In the coming years, India is poised to become the third largest economy,' he added. He highlighted this achievement as a crucial milestone towards India's goal of becoming a Vikshit Bharat by 2047. Bhandari also emphasised the significant role played by small and medium enterprises (SMEs), women entrepreneurs, and the poorer sections of society in driving India's growth. 'Today is a big day for all entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises because they have been the biggest partners in India's economy. Small and medium enterprises, poor women, and entrepreneurs have played a major role, even though some groups recently tried to question India's growth during global uncertainty,' he told ANI. Bhandari described Modinomic as a symbol of strong economic fundamentals that have enabled India to overtake Japan and move steadily towards becoming the world's third largest economy in the near future. 'It is a symbol and a reflection of Modinomics, which stands for strong economic fundamentals and has made India the fourth largest economy, overtaking Japan. In the coming years, India is expected to become the third largest economy,' he said. Earlier today, NITI Aayog Chief Executive Officer (CEO) BVR Subrahmanyam said that India has overtaken Japan to become the world's fourth-largest economy, citing data by the International Monetary Fund. According to the IMF's April edition of the World Economic Outlook report, the nominal GDP for fiscal 2026 is expected to reach around USD 4,187.017 billion. This is marginally more than the likely GDP of Japan, which is estimated at USD 4,186.431 billion. India was the fifth largest economy in the world till 2024.(ANI)

BJP hails PM Modi, says India isolated Pakistan diplomatically
In a post on X, BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said Pakistan 'pleaded for an understanding' after suffering 'catastrophic losses', 'In just 72 hours, under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has rewritten the rules of engagement with Pakistan,' he added. The party's remarks came after India and Pakistan on Saturday reached an understanding to stop all firings and military actions on land, air and sea, with immediate effect after four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes. New Delhi, May 11 (PTI) The BJP on Sunday asserted that India has rewritten the rules of engagement with Pakistan under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bhandari said India called out Pakistan's 'nuclear bluff' with strategic resolve, struck deep inside Pakistani military zones from Lahore to Rawalpindi and destroyed terror headquarters of Jaish and LeT in Munirke and Bahawalpur. 'Sent a clear message: no inch of Pakistani territory is beyond India's reach, crippled Pakistan economically by pausing the Indus Water Treaty,' he said. India isolated Pakistan diplomatically, exposing its terror ecosystem globally, he added. 'In an era where conventional wars — from Russia-Ukraine to US-Taliban — have failed to achieve strategic ends, India under Prime Minister Modi has adopted 'Chanakya Neeti' – smart, swift, and sovereign,' the BJP spokesperson said. 'This is not strategic restraint. This is strategic dominance, and fight against Pakistani terror is not over,' he added. PTI PK DV DV This report is auto-generated from PTI news service. 'Will have to build next gurukuls in Karachi and Lahore': Yoga guru Ramdev predicts Pakistan's collapse
NEW DELHI: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari made strong statements about Pakistan on Sunday, discussing the country's internal conflicts and military capabilities. They addressed Pakistan's current situation following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which resulted in 26 deaths, and the subsequent escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan. Baba Ramdev expressed his views on Pakistan's internal stability and military preparedness against India. — ANI (@ANI) "Pakistan is going to break on its own. Pakhtun, the people of Balochistan, are demanding their independence. The situation in POK is even worse. It does not have the strength to fight India. It cannot stand against India even for four days in a war... I think that in a few days we will have to build the next Gurukul in Karachi and another in Lahore," said Ramdev. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Thousands Are Saving Money Using This Wall Plug elecTrick - Save upto 80% on Power Bill Click Here Undo Pradeep Bhandari addressed Pakistan's current situation and India's potential response to the Pahalgam attack. "Pakistan is convinced that it neither trusts its Army nor its defence preparedness. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India is poised to deliver a strong response to those orchestrating terror and turn the handlers of terror to dust," Bhandari said. Bhandari also called on the Congress party to support the national stance. "When there is fear even within Pakistan, Congress should also come forward and be a part of this national resolve. I hope Congress opens its eyes," he added. The tensions between India and Pakistan have intensified since the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which resulted in 26 casualties. The Modi government has granted complete operational freedom to the armed forces regarding the response strategy, including mode, targets, and timing. India has implemented several measures, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty, to signal its strong stance against Pakistan's support of cross-border terrorism. Pakistan's military is currently experiencing a severe shortage of artillery ammunition, limiting its combat capabilities to approximately four days. The ammunition shortage is linked to recent arms deals with Ukraine, which have depleted Pakistan's war reserves. Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), responsible for military supplies, has been unable to maintain adequate ammunition levels due to increased global demand and aging production facilities. The current ammunition reserves can only support 96 hours of intense conflict, creating a significant vulnerability in Pakistan's military preparedness.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has given the armed forces complete operational freedom to decide on the mode, targets, and timing of India's response. The government has also announced a series of measures, including putting the Indus Water Treaty in abeyance, to send a strong message to Pakistan for its support of cross-border terrorism. Pakistan's military is facing a critical shortage of artillery ammunition, severely limiting its warfighting capabilities to just four days. The shortage is attributed to the country's recent arms deals with Ukraine, which have drained its war reserves. Sources say the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), which supplies the military, has struggled to replenish supplies amid surging global demand and outdated production facilities. As a result, Pakistan's ammunition reserves can sustain only 96 hours of high-intensity conflict, leaving its military vulnerable.
