'Will have to build next gurukuls in Karachi and Lahore': Yoga guru Ramdev predicts Pakistan's collapse

NEW DELHI: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari made strong statements about Pakistan on Sunday, discussing the country's internal conflicts and military capabilities. They addressed Pakistan's current situation following the
Pahalgam terror attack
on April 22, which resulted in 26 deaths, and the subsequent escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan.
Baba Ramdev expressed his views on Pakistan's internal stability and military preparedness against India.

"Pakistan is going to break on its own. Pakhtun, the people of Balochistan, are demanding their independence. The situation in POK is even worse. It does not have the strength to fight India. It cannot stand against India even for four days in a war... I think that in a few days we will have to build the next Gurukul in Karachi and another in Lahore," said Ramdev.

Pradeep Bhandari addressed Pakistan's current situation and India's potential response to the Pahalgam attack.
"Pakistan is convinced that it neither trusts its Army nor its defence preparedness. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India is poised to deliver a strong response to those orchestrating terror and turn the handlers of terror to dust," Bhandari said.
Bhandari also called on the Congress party to support the national stance. "When there is fear even within Pakistan, Congress should also come forward and be a part of this national resolve. I hope Congress opens its eyes," he added.
The tensions between India and Pakistan have intensified since the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which resulted in 26 casualties.
The Modi government has granted complete operational freedom to the armed forces regarding the response strategy, including mode, targets, and timing.
India has implemented several measures, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty, to signal its strong stance against Pakistan's support of cross-border terrorism.
Pakistan's military is currently experiencing a severe shortage of artillery ammunition, limiting its combat capabilities to approximately four days.
The ammunition shortage is linked to recent arms deals with Ukraine, which have depleted Pakistan's war reserves.
Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), responsible for military supplies, has been unable to maintain adequate ammunition levels due to increased global demand and aging production facilities.
The current ammunition reserves can only support 96 hours of intense conflict, creating a significant vulnerability in Pakistan's military preparedness.

"Has His Reasons": Shashi Tharoor On Rahul Gandhi's "Dead Economy" Remark

Mumbai: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Saturday refused to comment on party leader Rahul Gandhi's endorsing US President Donald Trump's 'dead economy' remark about India and said the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha may have had his "own reasons" for saying so. The remarks came after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday agreed with US President Donald Trump's statement that the Indian economy is "dead" and said he is "glad" that the US President has stated a fact. Speaking to the mediapersons, Tharoor said, "I don't want to comment on what my party leader has said. He has his reasons for saying so. My concern is that our relationship with the US, as a strategic and economic partnership, is important for us. We are exporting around 90 billion worth of goods to America. We can't be in a position to lose that or have it diminish significantly." "We must wish our negotiators strength to get a fair deal for India. We should also be talking to other regions for exporting our goods. Then we could make up for some of what we might lose in the US. We have to support our negotiators," he added. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Thursday agreed with US President Donald Trump's statement that the Indian economy is "dead" and said he is "glad" that the US President has stated a fact. Speaking to reporters, Rahul Gandhi said that the whole world knows the Indian economy is "dead" except for the Prime Minister and Finance Minister. "Yes, he is right. Everybody knows this except the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister. Everybody knows that the Indian economy is a dead economy. I am glad that President Trump has stated a fact. The entire world knows that the Indian economy is a dead economy. BJP has finished the economy to help Adani," Rahul Gandhi said. On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump made a shocking statement on his social media platform Truth Social after the announcement of 25 percent tariffs against India and threatened an additional "penalty" for importing Russian oil.

KCR's corruption exposed in Kaleshwaram, says Mahesh Goud

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud said that the Judicial Commission on the irregularities in Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project pointed all fingers towards former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao in the massive irregularities in the planning and execution of the project. 'I have seen media reports on the Kaleshwaram Commission clearly holding KCR and his team responsible for the enormous violations leading to poor quality of construction,' he said arguing that the report has revealed what the Congress had been saying all along. 'Thousands of crores were wasted in the name of irrigation development, but the reality is that the Kaleshwaram project was driven by personal gain,' he said during his Janahita padayatra in Armoor on Saturday. Mr. Goud accused KCR of completely ignoring expert advice and overstepping technical guidelines. 'Engineers were silenced, and the project was built as per the whims and fancies of KCR so that they could make money. The project failure isn't just inefficiency but criminal negligence,' he said. He reiterated that the Congress government will ensure accountability and justice, holding those responsible for such scams answerable to the people of Telangana. He also blamed KCR and former minister for Irrigation Harish Rao for Andhra Pradesh pushing the controversial Banakacherla project as the BRS had made backdoor agreements with Andhra Pradesh during their tenure. Earlier in the day, AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, and Mahesh Kumar Goud participated in Shramadanam activities with students at Jogipet Degree College. Minister D. Seethakkha, MLA Madan Mohan Rao, Advisor to Government Shabbir Ali and AICC secretary Sampath Kumar also joined the padayatra. Mr. Goud further said that the credit for the historic decision of 42% reservations to Backward Classes goes to the Congress Party, which introduced it through the Kamareddy Declaration. 'It is Rahul Gandhi's leadership that made this possible,' he declared. He wondered why BRS MLC K Kavitha was making noise when she was silent during her father's regime.
