In its latest innovation, ITC's Bingo! Mad Angles has launched Mystery Pickle — a quirky, flavour-packed twist in its Mad Angles portfolio. Building on the immense popularity of the lead variant Achaari Masti , this new variant dives deeper into India's love for achaar, with a twist so intriguing that has piqued the curiosity of CID 's ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Dr. Salunkhe. Designed to spark interest, the launch has been packaged as a flavourful mystery that invites everyone to play detective. The new product variant Bingo! Mad Angles Mystery Pickle brings the mystery alive through an on-pack consumer engagement that challenges snackers to guess the mystery flavor and stand a chance to win exciting prizes. To take this one-of-a-kind launch a notch higher, Bingo! has partnered with the cult-favourite crime show CID to create an imaginative crossover style film. The humorous TVC is shot in classic CID style with forensic clues & intense stares with the iconic trio of ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Dr. Salunkhe hard at work to crack the mystery flavor. Veteran actor Sanjay Narvekar joins the cast of CID 2 for the upcoming new twist
CID 2 is earning rave reviews for its intriguing twists and turns. The show has once again captivated viewers' hearts. It had a successful run from 1998 and 2018. After the first successful season, the creators returned with season two in 2024. This was the best news for all of the fans. Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Ajay Nagrath, Aditya Srivastava, Ansha Sayed, Hrishikesh Pandey, Narendra Gupta, and others returned to reprise their renowned roles. This new season is set to have many twists coming up. We witnessed Shivaji Satam, also known as ACP Pradyuman, die, followed by a new ACP. Parth Samthaan has joined the show as ACP Ayushmaan. He stepped in to manage the team in ACP Pradyuman's absence, as well as to determine who the 'gaddar' is on the CID team. ACP Pradyuman returned after Barboza's plans failed, but was not apprehended. It was also discovered that Dr. Salunkhe was the 'gaddar' who assisted Barboza. Ayushmaan quit the team, and we saw Inspector Shreya return when ACP Pradyuman rescued her daughter. We witnessed Daya and Shreya's tearful reunion. We now have another major twist in the show. Daya is now portrayed as the villain who murdered police officers. We also observe him preparing and discussing stuff with Shreya in secret. They have been hiding things from the CID team, and another officer has entered to examine the matter. The high commission has decided to dispatch another 'SOS' officer because the CID team has been unable to apprehend the killers of the police officers. In this new role, legendary actor Sanjay Narvekar will play the investigative officer. Yes, he will appear on the show beginning next week. He then disclosed that Dr. Salunkhe was the traitor. He also admitted to abandoning the CID team since they constantly took credit for solving the case away from him. Dr. Salunkhe was then arrested, and Narendra Gupta's time on the show came to an end. However, fans are dissatisfied with this narrative for Dr. Salunkhe, who has played a significant role in the show. The promo of CID 2, shared by Sony TV on Instagram, shows Daya informing the team that ACP Pradyuman is alive, leaving everyone surprised. Abhijeet is seen questioning, 'Where has he been all this time, and what happened to him?" Meanwhile, Purvi is seen making a call, informing someone of the ACP's return.
