Bhopal/Jabalpur: The Madhya Pradesh high court directed Harda police to provide security to a doctor couple, if required, while disposing of a petition from the woman doctor seeking security due to threats to their lives from her parents and relatives. Vikrant Vishwas and his wife, Pragya, are her petition before the High Court, Pragya stated that she and Vikrant had a love marriage , but her father and relatives did not approve of their marriage. She is from Petlawad in Jhabua district. She expressed the apprehension that their lives could be in danger if they were not provided with police govt counsel, who appeared before the court in this case, said that the petitioner should go to the police station in her area and record her statement. Girl in district with 49% female literacy gets 100% in Boards
Being focused from Day 1 worked for me: Singrauli girl BHOPAL: A 16-year-old village girl from MP's Singrauli district, which has a female literacy rate of just 48.5%, has bagged a perfect 100% in Class 10 state board by Pragya's Jaiswal's 500/500 marks, CM Mohan Yadav said: "In our state, there are not only 'ladli bahnen' but also 'ladli betiyan'.Pragya, whose parents are govt schoolteachers, lives in Nigari village in Singrauli's Sarai tehsil, 645km from Bhopal. Her achievement has come as a beacon of hope for the district, which is way behind even the state's female literacy average of 59.2% (2011 Census).Deputy sarpanch of Nigari, Govind Jaiswal, said that Pragya, 16, has brought nationwide recognition to his village.
