JCSO announces 1st Annual 'Praise in the Park' fundraiser
JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – The Jackson County Sheriff's Office has announced its first annual fundraiser for Chrome Ministry, 'Praise in the Park,' on Saturday. According to a JCSO Facebook post, the fundraiser will take place on Sunday at Madison Street Park from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees can expect an evening filled with live worship music, raffles, food, bounce house, splash pad and more. JCSO said that all proceeds from the event will go to support Still Waters Women's Ministry and Chrome Ministry. Those who want the opportunity to dunk Sheriff Donnie Edenfield in the tank can pay $10 for three chances. And $5,000 will keep Hunter Nolen out of the tank and Edenfield in. Madisonville 4th Fest and Praise in the Park lineup announced
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The city of Madisonville has announced the 4th Fest and Praise in the Park lineup at Madisonville City Park, July 4 through July 6. Madisonville city officials say this year's lineup features Morris Day and The Time, Chris Janson, Tauren Wells, Chase Matthew, Bryan Martin, Ruben Studdard and Josiah Queen. Mayor Kevin Cotton said, 'As Mayor, I am thrilled to invite everyone to this year's 4th Fest and Praise in the Park! With an incredible three-night lineup featuring R&B Pop, Country and Praise and Worship, there's something for everyone to enjoy. This event showcases the heart and soul of our community, bringing people together for an unforgettable weekend of music, fun and celebration. We anticipate our biggest crowd yet, so mark your calendars and join us in Madisonville, Kentucky, on July fourth, fifth and sixth for an unforgettable holiday weekend!' Event organizers say the annual event lasts for three days and is an outdoor music festival. It is free to attend and will feature concerts, food trucks, various vendors, a beer garden only on Friday and Saturday and family fun. This year's fireworks show will be on July 4 after the concert.
