Madisonville 4th Fest and Praise in the Park lineup announced
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The city of Madisonville has announced the 4th Fest and Praise in the Park lineup at Madisonville City Park, July 4 through July 6.
Madisonville city officials say this year's lineup features Morris Day and The Time, Chris Janson, Tauren Wells, Chase Matthew, Bryan Martin, Ruben Studdard and Josiah Queen.
Mayor Kevin Cotton said, 'As Mayor, I am thrilled to invite everyone to this year's 4th Fest and Praise in the Park! With an incredible three-night lineup featuring R&B Pop, Country and Praise and Worship, there's something for everyone to enjoy. This event showcases the heart and soul of our community, bringing people together for an unforgettable weekend of music, fun and celebration. We anticipate our biggest crowd yet, so mark your calendars and join us in Madisonville, Kentucky, on July fourth, fifth and sixth for an unforgettable holiday weekend!'

City officials say fans and guests interested in attending the concerts are strongly encouraged to sign up for the email newsletter. The newsletter will provide detailed information on times, parking and shuttle information, additional activities and event updates.
Event organizers say the annual event lasts for three days and is an outdoor music festival. It is free to attend and will feature concerts, food trucks, various vendors, a beer garden only on Friday and Saturday and family fun. This year's fireworks show will be on July 4 after the concert.

Brick Convention coming to Evansville this weekend
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Old National Events Plaza will be host to the Brick Convention this weekend. The Brick Convention is a LEGO fan event that features professional LEGO artists from around the world, local LEGO builders, and LEGO fans of all ages. Organizers gear up for Handy Blues and Barbeque Festival
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The WC Handy Blues and Barbecue Festival is coming up and organizers are making final preparations for the event. It starts next Wednesday through Saturday at Audubon Mill Park in Henderson. It's a celebration of the life and legacy of Henderson resident William Christopher Handy, who spent nearly a decade in the city during the late 1800s. Handy Fest PR and Marketing Chair Anita Watkins says the festival has become one of the largest free music festivals in the nation, drawing people from nearly every state. Strawberry Festival at The Cottage Farm Stand returns
HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The annual Strawberry Festival at the Cottage Farm Stand makes its return to Owensboro this weekend. According to the festival will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Activities for children that are listed include inflatables, face painting, a bubble area and a treasure dig. Organizers state pony rides, a petting zoo and an interactive display of large trucks and farm equipment are some of the interactive activities that are listed. Over 150 vendors have been announced that will be offering items like handmade soaps, fresh honey, handmade ceramics and more. Food trucks will also be available offering a variety of food. Organizers state this year's event will include a car show with multiple categories and prizes. Live performances from Annabel Whitledge, Cam Thompson, Dakota Hayden, Maggie Hollis and The Lowland Rambler have also been announced. Parking will be $5 for each vehicle.
