Community Foundation hosts annual hygiene products fundraiser: How to donate to fund
The Community Foundation for South Central New York is hosting the second annual Hygiene Fund Drive in April. All donations will be distributed across Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Otsego and Tioga counties.
In 2024, the CFSCNY raised $10,000 to share across 13 organizations. This year they are looking for more local contributions through a crowdfunding campaign running through April 30.
CFSCNY Development Officer Shawn Graham highlighted the increasing demand for hygiene products at pantries across the region in a statement Monday.

"These pantries uphold basic human dignity for those at risk," Graham said. "We knew it was time to rally broader community support. Our goal is to increase annual contributions until the need no longer exists."
