'Pretty Little Baby' hitmaker Connie Francis dies aged 87
Singer Connie Francis has died at the age of 87, just as her 1960s song 'Pretty Little Baby' went viral on TikTok.
She died after a recent stay in hospital, and the sad news was released to her legions of fans this morning (Thursday) by her close friend Ron Roberts.
Ron wrote on Facebook, 'It is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that I inform you of the passing of my dear friend Connie Francis last night.

Recently a song Connie Francis recorded in 1962 went viral with a whole host of new young fans posting their content on TikTok while using the track 'Pretty little baby', to accompany videos of puppies and kittens as well as newborn babies.

Speaking recently about the song and how it has found a new young audience of millions, the iconic superstar said 'I had to listen to it to remember, but to think that a song I recorded 63 years ago is touching the hearts of millions of people is truly awesome, Its an amazing feeling'.
