Metrash's ‘Al-Adeed Service' enables public to report security and morality violations
On 13 August 2025, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) tweeted about the 'Al-Adeed' service available in the 'Security' section of the Metrash application, enabling the public to submit complaints directly to the Preventive Security Department.
Through this service, residents can report public morals violations, negative behaviours, threats, offences in tourist areas, and administrative corruption. The feature provides a direct, confidential, and secure way to communicate concerns to authorities, reinforcing the message that security is a shared responsibility.
To use the service, users must go to 'Security Complaint' in Metrash, select the Preventive Security Department, and provide details of the incident.
Steps to submit a report via the Al-Adeed service on Metrash:
Open the Metrash app and log in.
Go to the 'Security' section.
Select 'Security Complaint'.
Choose the Preventive Security Department
Select Al-Adeed Service Reporting under Application Type category.
Fill in the required details.
Select the type of information or complaint (e.g., public morals, threats) and submit.
The MOI encourages residents to make use of the 'Al-Adeed' service to help preserve public order, safety, and community well-being.
