The older Gilmour brother - fresh from being crowned champion of Italy with Napoli - appeared on stage to present an award to an inspirational teenager battling cancer who had left him "in tears" when she played the guitar for him.
And he posed with BBC sport presenter - and Sacked in the Morning podcast host - Amy Irons afterwards.
Elaine C Smith was the host, with the likes of Scottish Gladiator Sabre, singing icon Susan Boyle, and Love Island's Laura Anderson in attendance.
So too were Hollywood star Brian Cox, Star Wars actor Denis Lawson, Game of Throne's James Cosmo, Rangers hero Jack Butland and DJ George Bowie.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Irons wrote: "A wonderful night at the Pride of Scotland awards, there's no occasion quite like this one."

And one thing that would have made it even sweeter for former Rangers kid Gilmour when he get off the line was that his whole family were in attendance at the Diego Maradona Stadium to see him accomplish such a remarkable feat.
Sharing an image on social media, Ardeer Thistle - where his little brother Harvey now plays his football - wrote: "A massive Congratulations to all the Gilmour family, as our Midfielder, Harvey Gilmour and his parents watched on as older brother Billy, clinches the Serie A title with Napoli.
They added: "An incredible achievement.
"Enjoy the celebrations guys."
