So too were Hollywood star Brian Cox, Star Wars actor Denis Lawson, Game of Throne's James Cosmo, Rangers hero Jack Butland and DJ George Bowie.
Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Irons wrote: "A wonderful night at the Pride of Scotland awards, there's no occasion quite like this one."
Stylish midfielder Gilmour made 26 appearances in the league for his old Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and played in an invaluable role as Napoli won the Serie A title
And one thing that would have made it even sweeter for former Rangers kid Gilmour when he get off the line was that his whole family were in attendance at the Diego Maradona Stadium to see him accomplish such a remarkable feat.
Sharing an image on social media, Ardeer Thistle - where his little brother Harvey now plays his football - wrote: "A massive Congratulations to all the Gilmour family, as our Midfielder, Harvey Gilmour and his parents watched on as older brother Billy, clinches the Serie A title with Napoli.

Amy asked her whether Dejon, 26, is a different person when he is not around Meg, 25, to which Malisha bluntly stated: "Yeah." She then continued: "I genuinely don't think it's gonna last. Because they're like, always arguing and then coming back together. "It's [possible] either one of them are gonna get really tired of it and say, 'You know what, I can't deal with this anymore'." The former Love Island star added: "And it's just the endless cycle of I'm arguing and then kiss and make up. So it's like, I don't think it's gonna last." Malisha also described her time in the villa as a 'lose, lose situation' as she claims that her position was somewhat untenable. "We have conversations where you're like, you know, it's okay, like you're here to be a bombshell," she admitted when speaking about Meg. Adding: "Then it's like chaos that I'm actually pulling [him for a chat]. Yeah, it's a lose, lose situation." "It was too much." This comes after the former islander did not hold back when she made a bombshell appearance on Aftersun. Malisha's savage digs at Love Islanders revealed as she refuses to hold back She was asked by an audience member to give one-word verdicts on her fellow Islanders. When it came to Shea, she didn't mince her words, as she remarked that chatting to him was like 'talking to a brick wall.' She also made it clear that her feud with Meg was far from over as Malisha claimed she 'went too far.' The reality personality also claimed that she would 'never be friends' with her on the outside. Although, Malisha left the door open for a post-show spark with Dejon, cheekily saying they had 'unfinished business'. To add fuel to the fire, Dejon's own family were watching from the Aftersun audience and were asked who they thought was the better match for him: Meg or Malisha. Without hesitation, they proudly declared they were Team Malisha. 7 After leaving the villa, Malisha gave a fiery interview to Maya Jama on Love Island: Aftersun Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 7 She said the relationship between Meg and Dejon would not last Credit: Shutterstock Editorial 7 Malisha claimed that Dejon was life a different person when he was not around Meg Credit: Eroteme 7 She previously stated that she would not be friends with Meg outside of the villa Credit: Instagram Love Island continues on ITV2 and is available to stream on ITVX.

EFL introduces major rule change on dual ownership with Scottish clubs amid Rangers Leeds 49ers link-up
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE EFL have ripped up the rulebook and fallen into line with the Premier League when it comes to multi-club ownership between its clubs and those in Scottish and Irish football. And that could open the floodgates for further investment along the lines of 49ers Enterprises involvement in Rangers, Black Knight's interest in Bournemouth and Hibs, or Brighton owner Tony Bloom's involvement in Hearts. Sign up for the Rangers newsletter Sign up 2 Paraag Marathe, President of 49ers Enterprises, at Elland Road Credit: Alamy 2 Rangers chairman Andrew Cavenagh and vice-chair Paarag Marathe at Ibrox Stadium Credit: Willie Vass We told you at the beginning of the Andrew Cavenagh/49ers Enterprises saga how the takeover would have been BLOCKED under the previous rules if Leeds had failed to win promotion back to the top flight. Those hopes were teetering on the brink at one stage as they were locked in a three-way shootout with Burnley and Sheffield Utd, but Leeds came through at the death as Sheffield Utd faded and the rest is history. And now The Guardian are reporting that EFL bosses have changed their rules at the AGM earlier this month in any case. A combination of Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises saw them pay £75m for 51% of Rangers in a transaction that transaction would have been delayed had Leeds not been promoted to the Premier League. Under the new regulations that will come into operation this coming season, owners and directors are now only prohibited from having interests in more than one club in the EFL, Premier League, National League, Southern League, Isthmian League and Northern Premier League. For these purposes, aninterest is defined as holding shares in two clubs or exerting any managerial or administrative influence. In the short term it's Irish Football League clubs are likely to benefit from more investment offers after the rule change. That's because ambitious EFL sides could park European Union players there to get round strict post Brexit work permit criteria. Juliana Marins slipped and plunged more than 1,600 feet from a hiking trail along the crater rim of Mount Rinjani on Saturday morning. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 10 The publicist and dancer had been backpacking though Southeast Asia 10 Juliana and her pal Federica joked about the cloud covered view at the top of Mount Rinjani 10 The 26-year-old survived the fall but was unable to climb back up due to her injuries The Brazilian national, who was a publicist and dancer from Niterói, near Rio de Janeiro, was trapped for four days after she fell while trekking up Indonesia's second-highest volcano. She had been backpacking through Southeast Asia since February, documenting her solo trip on social media. In heartbreaking footage, shared by a pal she met along her travels, Juliana could be seen joking and dancing in the days before her death. More clips showed the adventurous 26-year-old showing off the stunning vistas while riding on mopeds. Other shots revealed the dancer jumping into picturesque sinkholes and exploring caverns. In a tragic last video, Juliana and her friend Frederica, jibed about the view at the top of Mount Rinjani as it had been concealed by cloud cover. "I met Juliana the day before the trip. We were both traveling alone. We made it all the way to the top. It was very difficult. We climbed about 1,500 meters," Federica told G1 after the horror. In the clip Federica says sarcastically: "The view is amazing, you can tell it was so worth it." Juliana jokes: "Yeh, we did it for the view, so I'm glad, amazing!". This comes as distressing drone footage was also released which revealed Juliana trapped in a pit on the volcano as rescuers tried to reach her. Tourists on the Indonesian island of Lombok spotted her inside the crater after hearing screams for help. Juliana survived the fall but was unable to climb back up due to her injuries and had no access to food, water or shelter. The first rescue team was dispatched at 2.32pm local time on Saturday. After the initial alarm was raised, six more rescue teams tried to reach her. They were supported by two helicopters and equipment including an industrial drill. Cold temperatures and fog made search efforts on Sunday harder to navigate but a drone was able to locate Juliana. 10 A video shared by Juliana showed her dancing with pals on her travels Credit: Instagram@ajulianamarins 10 Other shots in the video revealed the dancer jumping into picturesque sinkholes Credit: Instagram@ajulianamarins 10 More clips showed the adventurous 26-year-old riding on mopeds Credit: Instagram@ajulianamarins However, when rescuers descended the volcano on Monday, she was no longer in the same spot. Rescuers finally located her on Tuesday, but it was tragically too late. Her family confirmed her death on social media, writing: "Today, the rescue team managed to reach the place where Juliana Marins was. "With great sadness, we inform you that she did not survive. "We remain very grateful for all the prayers, messages of affection and support that we have received." Earlier this week, Nikolas Osman, spokesperson for the East Lombok Police, said Juliana was hiking in a group and fell after suffering fatigue. He said: "While heading to the summit of Rinjani on the way to the Cemara Tunggal area, the victim experienced fatigue and the guide at that time advised her to rest. "Then the five guests in the tour group were taken by the guide to continue the journey. "However, by the time he returned to fetch her, the Brazilian woman was already missing." Indonesian authorities deployed three helicopters to try and rescue Juliana, according to West Nusa Tenggara governor Lalu Muhamad Iqbal. Iqbal told reporters: 'One helicopter from the Indonesian Armed Forces and national search and rescue agency (Basarnas) is expected to arrive at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (BIZAM) around 2pm local time today.' Before the incident, Juliana had visited Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. 10 In distressing drone footage, Juliana is seen trapped in a pit on the volcano as rescuers try to reach her 10 The young woman tragically died while hiking up Mount Rinjani 10 The search for Juliana was hampered by fog
