Affiliated Managers Group Is Exploring Comvest Partners Stake Sale
Affiliated Managers Group Inc. is exploring the sale of its minority stake in Comvest Partners, an alternative-asset manager that oversees about $15.7 billion, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
Prides Crossing, Massachusetts-based AMG is working with an adviser to solicit interest in the stake, and any transaction could value Comvest at $700 million or more, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified discussing confidential information.
