To Ahaan Panday On Saiyaara Success, Big Love From Rumoured Girlfriend Shruti Chauhan: "I Love You"

New Delhi: Ahaan Panday has become the centre of attention following the release of his debut film Saiyaara, which hit theatres on Friday. The film surpassed trade expectations and outperformed Raid 2 and Sky Force, entering the list of the top five highest-grossing openers of 2025. What's Happening While Ahaan's professional success is making headlines, his personal life has also sparked interest. Reportedly, the 27-year-old actor is in a relationship with Shruti Chauhan. Although neither of them has confirmed or denied the rumours, speculation intensified after Shruti posted a heartfelt message on social media celebrating Ahaan's big-screen debut. In her post, she praised the film's cast and crew and shared an emotional note for Ahaan: "To the boy who dreamed of this his entire life... I love you, I'm proud of you, I'm crying, I'm screaming... the world will finally know you and what you can do!" Who Is Ahaan Panday's Rumoured Girlfriend? Shruti Chauhan, 28, has worked across theatre, film, advertising, magazine shoots, live hosting and social media campaigns. She also appeared in a supporting role in Gully Boy. Background Ahaan comes from a well-known film family. He is the son of Chikki Panday (Chunky Panday's younger brother) and wellness expert Deanne Panday. His cousin is actress Ananya Panday, and his sister, Alanna Panday, is a lifestyle influencer. So far, Saiyaara has become the highest-grossing Hindi film led by debutants. The film collected Rs 83 crore in three days. The film's performance is especially notable considering its lead pair did not participate in traditional promotions ahead of release. Director Mohit Suri explained the decision, comparing it to the approach taken with his 2013 film Aashiqui 2, which also featured relatively fresh faces at the time, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. "It was an idea that collectively came forward. My producer Akshaye Widhani and, of course, Aditya Chopra (owner of Yash Raj Films), who has mentored us through this thing, suggested that until the two actors don't have anything behind them to talk about, the conversation will be filled with questions like 'Who is the prankster on the set?' or 'How is it to work with Mohit Suri?' It's all redundant stuff, and I don't think anyone has any interest in listening to all that," Suri said in an interview on the YouTube channel Just Too Filmy. While Saiyaara marks Ahaan Panday's on-screen debut, it is Aneet Padda's first feature film appearance. She previously gained attention for her performance in the Prime Video India series Big Girls Don't Cry last year.

Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 2: Next Stop For Ahaan Panday And Aneet Padda's Film

New Delhi: Mohit Suri's romantic drama Saiyaara is turning out to be one of the biggest surprises of the year. What's Happening Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara has now become the highest-grossing Hindi film led by debutants. On Saturday, Saiyaara collected Rs 24 crore at the domestic box office, slightly higher than its opening day total of Rs 21 crore. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film's two-day total stands at Rs 45 crore. Based on its current momentum, Saiyaara is expected to cross the Rs 50 crore mark on Sunday. In just two days, the film has surpassed the collections of several big-name releases, including Rajkummar Rao's Maalik (Rs 23.27 crore), Shahid Kapoor's Deva (Rs 33.97 crore), Kajol's Maa (Rs 38.51 crore), and John Abraham's The Diplomat (Rs 40.73 crore). It is also on track to overtake Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino (Rs 48.47 crore). Additionally, Saiyaara has outperformed the re-release collections of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Rs 22.04 crore) and Sanam Teri Kasam (Rs 35.55 crore), both of which signalled a renewed interest in romantic films among audiences. Saiyaara, too, appears to be part of this trend. Background The film's performance is especially notable considering its lead pair did not participate in traditional promotions ahead of release.

Saiyaara box office collection day 2: Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda's film surpasses The Diplomat, Maa; to beat Metro… In Dino today

Saiyaara box office collection day 2: Mohit Suri's romantic drama Saiyaara is turning out to be the surprise of the year. The film, starring Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, became the highest grossing Hindi film starring newcomers. If the day 2 collection is anything to go by, Saiyaara is in for a momentous run at the domestic box office. On Saturday, Saiyaara earned Rs 24 crore in India, which is slightly higher than its opening day earnings of Rs 21 crore. As per trade tracker Sacnilk, the total domestic box office collection of the film after two days stands at Rs 45 crore. Given the current trajectory, it's most likely to edge past the Rs 50 crore mark on Sunday. With its domestic box office collection of two days, Saiyaara has already beaten the likes of Rajkummar Rao-starrer Maalik (Rs 23.27 crore), Shahid Kapoor-starrer Deva (Rs 33.97 crore), Kajol-starrer Maa (Rs 38.51 crore), and John Abraham's The Diplomat (Rs 40.73 crore). It's most likely to beat the earnings of Anurag Basu's Metro… In Dino (Rs 48.47 crore) today. Saiyaara has also surpassed the re-release box office collections of Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (Rs 22.04 crore) and Harshvardhan Rane-starrer Sanam Teri Kasam (Rs 35.55 crore). Those films were a fairly clear indication that romantic films are having a comeback on screen. Saiyaara is no different, as can be ascertained from its domestic box office run so far. Saiyaara has achieved these numbers without its new lead pair getting involved in any promotions. Suri claimed that like his 2013 romantic drama Aashiqui 2, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, he wanted to keep the pairing of Ahaan and Aneet fresh till the film's release. While Aditya and Shraddha had appeared in a few films prior to Aashiqui 2, Saiyaara marks Ahaan Panday's screen debut and Aneet Padda's film debut. Aneet got rave reviews for her turn in the Prime Video India coming-of-age show Big Girls Don't Cry last year. 'It was an idea that collectively came forward. My producer Akshaye Widhani and, of course, Aditya Chopra (owner of Yash Raj Films), who has mentored us through this thing, suggested that until the two actors don't have anything behind them to talk about, the conversation will be filled with questions like 'Who is the prankster on the set?' or 'How is it to work with Mohit Suri?' It's all redundant stuff, and I don't think anyone has any interest in listening to all that,' Suri reasoned in an interview on the YouTube channel Just Too Filmy.
