Jordan Summer Festival 2025 Events Continue Across the Kingdom The Jordan Summer Festival 2025, launched by the Ministry of Culture last week, continued its nationwide events this Friday, with festivities set to run until the end of August. The festive carnival-like atmosphere promotes Jordanian culture and brings joy to families and children. According to a statement from the ministry, events are held every Friday, alternating weekly across the northern, central, and southern governorates. The festival offers activities for all age groups, including: Children's entertainment (games, face painting) Local bazaars for crafts and handmade products Folkloric and musical performances by national and popular bands Festival Locations Include: Amman: Roman Theater, Jubaiha Gardens, Tank Museum Zarqa: Prince Mohammad City for Youth, Russeifa Park Balqa: Aqaba Bin Nafe' Complex Square Jerash: Hashemite Square Ajloun: Hussein Youth Camps Square Irbid: Al-Hasan City for Youth Mafraq: Municipal Stadium Madaba: Prince Hashem City Karak: Citadel Square Tafila: Tafila Sports Stadium Ma'an: Princess Haya Complex Petra: Visitor Center Aqaba: Great Arab Revolt Square Citizens can view the full event schedule via the official 'Jordan Celebrations' pages on Facebook and Instagram, or by visiting: Highlights From Governorates: Madaba: The festival launched at Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II City for Youth, with transportation provided from Madaba, Theiban, Libb, Maliha, and surrounding areas. Activities included face painting, children's entertainment, bazaars, and performances by the Chechen and Al-Sakhra folklore groups, and a concert by singer Zahida Zaki. Tafila: Held at the sports complex in Swaime', the event included diverse cultural, artistic, and musical programs, folk performances, local food stalls, and craft exhibitions. The evening featured the Ghazlan Ramtha troupe and singers Joni Mabmoun and Imad Al-Khawalda, alongside children's plays and creative activities. Karak: Governor Dr. Qablan Al-Sharif inaugurated the events emphasizing the festival as a family-friendly outlet. It featured children's games, folk bazaars, national DJ segments, and a patriotic performance by singer Ayham Al-Bashtawi. Ma'an: Events were held at Princess Haya Complex and featured face painting, traditional markets, children's entertainment, and a folkloric show by Aqaba Folk Arts Troupe. Musical guests included Issa Al-Khattab and Nabil Samour, drawing large crowds and positive public interaction.
